Buy a travel card which can be used on all buses including those on Gozo.

Every activity can be done by public buses which are cheaper than private excursions. Maxium 5 days required to see all the basic attraction and the island it self. If you want to go in details, max 8 days. St Julian is the party city for night life food and so on, however its pricey £££££. Valetta and Silema are good option to stay as the prices for food and outing is good. Please do your research before you go. "Blue Lagoon" is good but not great. It has a really small beach. But it gets packed so quickly. You have to pay for deck chairs €5 plus €5 for umbrella. Coctails are €10

Local bus costing €2 per head is valid for 2 hours can take you to any part of Malta. We travelled to Valletta, the Capital city which lies to the other end of the Island, from the hotel. Amazing! And make sure you book transfersfom and to the airport while booking your holiday. Works out a lot cheaper.
