Get what you pay for.
Front desk receptionist who attended to me at check-in was helpful and professional. Was given a room that has a nasty odour; like wet blankets left in a room. Room was changed to my request. Next room was ok, but air-conditioning was noisy. In the evening I asked another person at front desk if they could send someone to have a look at the aircon; nobody came. Gave up. I guess for the price I paid, couldn't expect much. Lucky it was only a night stay. Staff there is friendly.

Never ever stay in this hotel again.
The hotel staff was not helpful at all.. came at 12.30 to early check in.. but couldnt.. Came back at 3pm to check in, the staff said we didnt book and didnt pay.. at the end we decided not to check in. Wondering if we can have the refund for not staying..

Im being told that my booking is not in system and take about 10min to check. Downstair is indian store. Room with no toilet paper, tooth brush and etc... need to request from reception.

Nice place. Good staff. Ample choices of breakfast buffet.10 to 15mins walking distance to convenience store,mamak place n historical site. I will go there again if in melaka.

Despite strategic location and friendly staffs, the hotel is at their worst condition which include not functioning hot water, slow drain of basin water, room is hot although air-conditioner had been on for hours, stained bed sheet, no wifi although they written they have it, air in hotel room is not circulate and spoilt carpet at the corridor and most of us was about to fell each time passing it. Luckily, the staff said that they are upgrading the hotel. But as for now, this is the worst hotel that I had ever stay in Malacca which it does not worth the price that I've paid.

Bad experience
First night room corridor all without lights on after request they switch on. There's cockroaches, spider web and ants around the room and bathroom. Water pressure was small, room and lobby has a bad smell. 1st day no breakfast due to chef sick. First and last staying this hotel....

Good location but poor service
Was back in the hotel at around 3pm. There was no housekeeping, so we called for housekeeping but no one came when we left for dinner at 5.30pm. We had a chat with the reception about the housekeeping while on the way out. Guess what, the room was still the same when we returned at 11pm. Had to go down personally to request for toiletries. Very bad experience

If you have to stay at this hotel, please do expect: - dusk everywhere - broken shower holder - dirty toilet - broken toilet door lock - broken tv remote control - very simple breakfast.most vegetable.dont have even chicken meat in noodle soup or fried noodle/rice - no telephone line. Cannot even call the receptionist. Overall very disapointed.

I stayed in room 104, water basin tap was not tighten, it move when u turn on or off the tap. Additionally hot and cold water shower mixer was reverse ,turning to my left was hot water instead of cold water. Air-con was not really cold. This should have been rectify if check was carried out daily during daily cleaning after guest check out. Hopefully this feedback would help out the hotel to be better staying. Thank you

superb
friendly staff, affordable price with breakfast served, plenty of space for vehicle parking, walking distance to many attractive places like jonker walk, a farmosa, bandar hilir, taming sari tower, river cruise (save money to drive and park because traffics really heavy toward those).and most importantly, muslim friendly..will recommend others to stay here.. got 7-eleven store infront of hotel..

Hotel is 50-50
Don't book this hotel during public holiday because you will be stuck in the traffic for 1 hour eventhough the hotel is just 20m away. The bathroom cleanliness is 5/10. There's baby coacroaches at certain part of the toilet. Used wet towels in the bathroom. I dont think they change the comforter because there's too much wrinkles and dirts at most part of the comforter. Fridge got very hot like its gonna explode all of a sudden and they just ask us to turn it off on our own. (the switch is BEHIND the refrigerator btw. the mug's handle is broken and they just left it there. We brought our own mugs so we didnt use theirs. They should have change it to a new one otherwise they can easily blame us as the one who broke it, and then have to pay RM50 for the mug. Oh and bring your own iron. their iron is the worst -.-. whatever it is, its still near bandar hilir. so, kinda convinient with 24/7 7E in front, guardian nearby.

Comfortable room near city centre
Booked two days before I arrived and this hotel had the most reasonable price. Parking was a breeze (free parking at the back with back lift entrance). Check in was easy and room was comfortable. Certain channels were unavailable although it listed out a few channels but that was a minor thing and I was out of the hotel most of the time. There was only one iron and ironing board outside the room at my level (level 2) but since i did my ironing at midnight there was no rush to wait for others. I had a room with connecting doors. Doors were not fully soundproof but thankfully next door neighbour was not too loud. Overall a good place to stay.

Getting poor and bad
I have been staying in the same hotel for few time because it is convenience. But every time I stay I feel the service getting poorer and bad. Experience on latest stay: 1. Room was not cleaned properly 2. Towel was not changed 3. No bathroom towel 4. Internet was not stable 5. Every day the same breakfast meal. 6. Plates and cover maker pot was not washed properly as I can smell good (like old tea) 7. Astro was not working

The Rooms need to upgrade and fine tune
The Staff is friendly and overall environment i am satisfy but there are many angle need to improve such as toilet need wall hook to hang cloths,toilet shower need to have soap holder.shower taps need to re adjust the hot water and cold water indicator( Room 210)as i know blue indicator is for cold water and it is not for hot water and red is for hot water and is not for cold water.I am disappointed with the toilet amenities given is not indicated as shampoo or shower gel or hair conditioner,toilet paper,toilet floormat and tv controller need to request from housekeeping,The rooms don t provide a Do not disturb tag..and no door latch lock and no door peephole..(security?? )The Room provide a Big wall robe but only 1 cloths hanger provided,the room don t provide tissue paper,they only provide restaurant serviette... The room provide a quiet environment comfort bed and sufficient pillow.( Comfort enough for a good sleep ).The Breakfast is not good..... Overall I will only give 2 stars for the stay..

i booked this hotel for my in-laws. their review was really good. they loved the room the bed and ofcuz the variety of breakfast. they said the coffee and tea was extremely tastely. got nearby facilities.
