Perfect
Lovely hotel in the thick of things. Friendly staff and the hotel itself was spotless. Comfortable bed, great shower and very good in room coffee. Would highly recommend.

Uniqueness- it’s quaintness. It’s like a family living together. Staff were polite and smiled but no have had no conversations at all with us . Breakfast is a good time for small chats but it was mostly served in silence . Coming back to hotel , we were always greeted with a smile followed by a good night straight away. Small short conversations would have really made the stay amazing . Rooms were beautiful , bathroom luxurious . No room for 2 nd luggage though. Quite inconvenient . Hard to move around. The bed without bumping into the next person . Overall- pleasant . Will recommend you others !

We are so glad that we chose this hotel. One block off from Jonker street and convenient for sightseeing. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. Staff are friendly and helpful, our room was clean, nice mattress, coffee, tea, etc. The breakfast buffet was very nice as well. I went back for the third plate. If you are vegetarian, they can accommodate but you need to request in advance.

Cute little boutique hotel, well appointed with all the necessary items (toiletries, hair dryer, kettle). Staff are super friendly and helpful. Made it a very enjoyable stay

I really loved our stay at Gingerflower! The hotel was clean, our first room was good for our 2 nights but management upgraded us for our second night (we were satisfied with everything and had not requested). We enjoyed the hotel breakfast very much (local food). I had been to Malacca many years ago and remembered enjoying seafood in a certain sauce; when I described what I remembered at the reception they found me a restaurant which was exactly what I had hoped for... ,helped me get there. I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN AND I RECOMMEND GINGERFLOWER!!!!

Good stay.
Warm welcome and general greetings by the staff. Location was good. Parking is right behind the property. Please call before you arrive so they can prepare the parking spot for you. The room that we were given was smaller than we had expected. Breakfast was decent and simple. Please inform if you’re vegetarian. All in all, good hotel. Recommended for the condition and the staff.

The staff are friendly. Room condirion was okay but i had a stained towel. Toiletries amenities not inclue toothbrush. Location was excellent eventhough parking was a bit hassle. Limited parking behind the hotel.

Great place to explore Melaka
Stayed at the GingerFlower for 3 nights. Hotel is lovely, very clean and in a great location. Staff are really nice. Loved all the little extras such as bottled water in the room. Good breakfasts and great coffee. Excellent value for the money.

Location was good, within walking distance to popular sights and eating places. Booked the townhouse which would have been nice for eight or even ten people but was too big for four of us. Also it was a separate building from the hotel and quite a long walk away.

Enjoyable stay at GingerFlower
We had an enjoyable stay at GingerFlower. The staff was friendly, the room was clean. The breakfast was good and changed daily. Best of all was the location of the hotel which was so convenient, for access to old Melaka and its river.

Nice hotel, good location, right in the centre of town. They have a couple of parking spaces which are essential if you are driving as there is no on street parking. Breakfast is basic but ok.

Very nice room very nice finishes and details. All comforts included AC fridge nice shower tv screen wifi.. The hotel has been created out of a typical period shop house so Pls note all bedrooms have windows opening either onto the internal corridors or the internal lightwells. Ensuite showerrooms slso very nicely designed with marbles and nice fittings..ghe only drawback are the doors to the showeroom : they have a perhaps 20 cm gap at the bottom that doesnt leave much privacy..very good location in the heart of historical city centre. Staff very attentive and friendly.

Overall a nice place for a big group of 10
The apartment was huge with 4 bedrooms and 4 toilets. It was a lovely apartment with comfortable bedding. However, it’s in a separate building from the hotel so we had to walk to the apartment with our luggage though the hotel staff did help. The stairs to the bedrooms are also rather steep so need to be careful going down. Breakfast was not fantastic but reasonable. Again, we had to walk to another location for breakfast. On the first night, one of the heaters was spoilt but fortunately the hotel staff managed to fix it the next day. Parking is really a problem though as there’s really limited lots.

Brilliant location for Jonker St exploring andfor visiting the other tourist spots. Staff very attentive with wonderful happy attitude. Breakfast is simple and adequate, but with plenty of room for improvement.

nice and clean hotel by Jonker Walk
Gingerflower is a very cute hotel with super convenient location. The hotel has two levels and the staffs will help you carry your luggages upstair. The room we booked was small but clean and tidy. The breakfast was average.
