"We had a one night stay here. This would be the BEST hotel buffet ever. We had the lunch & breakfast buffet. So much variety & most delicious food. The service is also very very good. "Unfortunalty this was hotel clsoe to customer and meetings so no choice. Carpets threadbare and stained, corridoor walls filthy. Room also had staiend worn carpets and it generally needed refurb. Sheets whilst laundered showed signs of old stains. Room door on first room woudl not work at all after multile attempts so moved to new room. Staff nice and helpful, food OK and bar OK but nothing to set world on fire. Was told by management that they have started refurb on 4th floor so...

"I waited two months to avoid writing this review, but the hotel owners are not responding. 1) I got charged 4 times, across three cards. The credit card companies and I are trying to contact them for the past few weeks, but they won’t respond. At. All. 2) we ate once at the restaurant on the property. The hotel manager seemed strange, incoherent and repeatedly saying what he wanted to say. I speak Tamil, but couldn’t get the guy to bring only what we ordered and charge only the price listed....

"It is a eco friendly and a very clean and pleasant property. The only thing very obnoxious about the whole thing was room guest walking around the reception area to their rooms on 1st floor wrapped around only with a towel from the swimming pool. The club should maintain some decorum. This was the most unpleasant feeling with wife and daughter around. Otherwise every thing was fantastic"

"This is probably the best accommodation we saw in the town itself. It was brightly lit and easy to find. The streets around the hotel are dirty but probablly no more dirty than anywhere in India. I cant blame the hotel for thet. The staff here are very helpful and courteous. I enjoyed my stay here and would not hesitate to reccomend it to anyone. There are a few nice restaurants next to the hotel where you can get a beer and some wine."

"Like: Location walkable into town and the rock carvings. On a large plot running down to the sea and huge pool. Cottage was spacious with view over golf course to the sea. Staff friendly and helpful. Large comfortable bed. Dislike: Sunbeds need renewing. 2 of stairs into pool broken. Litter not cleared away.No chairs/ sun beds on the beach and unfinished buildings next to the beach. Resort needs some TLC which may have started as lobby area being renovated."

This property is not as fabulously interesting as the original InDeco at Swamimalai although fun and funky, and the food is superior. "Nothing to like. This is not a resort but a hotel with extended property. Nothing special. Extremely understaffed. No one to clean the tables or service the restaurant. Pool closes at 6 pm. Very limited options in buffet. They said sea view room but when we went there they said there's no sea view room in property. No need to stay here and pay high for this disappointing stay."
