Really enjoyed my stay here! It’s in a great location, VERY clean, and not a far walk from the metro. My only complaint is staff isn’t responsive on WhatsApp and they’re not always readily available to assist.

Paola es muy enfocada en resolver cualquier inconveniente que el huesped pueda tener. Muy atenta a detalles. El lugar es muy limpio y seguro. Mi opción #1 cuando vengo a Madrid.

The check in system is terrible, it wouldn't work, the "assistance" on the phone was useless, eventually someone came in person to help, so 45 minutes after i arrival I got inside to find my bed unchanged with dirty sheets. What a stupid place.

A very nice and clean hostel. Automated check in was a disappointment. Would not work, kept saying room not yet cleaned, return after 1pm for check in yet it was already after 3pm. Waited over 30 minutes for staff to show up to check me in. She stated they don’t accept guests over 50 years old and that it is on their website. I checked, it doesn’t say that on their website but she says it does. That was the reason for my poor review.

Nice clean hostel in great part of Madrid
Hostel is in great shape in a nice part of Madrid. Close to the presidential palace, and other attractions. We only spent one night there in a quad room with a private bath but it did the job nicely. Only downside was the room was directly off the shared public space and was pretty loud when we tried to sleep. Had a great meal next door at El Raton, yes that's right "The Rat", Would stay again.

Nice hostel, clean, not much privacy though.
Place was clean, and near the city center. 6 people shared one room, with one shower. Bunk beds didn't have curtains, so there wasn't much privacy. Lights we're automated, so they turned on everytime someone walked by a sensor. Can be annoying at times, I recommend getting something to shield your eyes from the lights if you're sensitive to light when trying to sleep. Really clean though, cleaners clean rooms everyday!

The self check in machine was only located outside so you have to try and input your information while exposed to whatever weather there is if you come after staff has left. Also if you lock yourself out you'd have to go outside to get a new key and hopefully you remember the code. Everything is activated with the key including power and your storage so you can't use your own lock. Only a thin Ikea blanket and sheets are provided. I'd made a comment about my mattress cover being stained and I came back to my bed being stripped and an extra sheet placed on top of the stained cover. The shower has good hot water with a waterfall shower head which is nice unless you don't want to wash your hair every day. There are only hooks inside so your toiletries must be placed on the floor if you dont have a hanging bag. The water managed to get my clothes wet on the hooks and the bottoms of my pants got wet everytime I got dressed. The location was ok but not great.

PRO+incredibly nice staff, quick response from owners, clean and modern (super duper clean by European standards), safe, lockers with chip, incredibly comfortable bed, quiet neighborhood and mature guests. CONS-a bit far away from city center, the automatic lights and shower were incredibly annoying, no 24 hour staff, water from the shower goes outside the cabin, can hear everything that goes on in the common room, not enough hooks, could use a bench in the room, and a shower caddy in the cabin, guests were mainly migrant workers so don’t expect to make friends to do tourist stuff with, room was cold in the morning. OVERALL, I really enjoyed my stay at Petit Hostel, but I’m deducting 2 stars because of the amount of CONS. Because of the issue of not being able to get a bottom bunk (my fault since I didn’t think about it beforehand) even though there was an empty bottom bed for a few days in my room. Because I was put under the very uncomfortable situation of having to deal directly with roommates who decided to get intimate while I was in the room and who brought alcohol with them...in such an instant it would have been great to have a member of the staff present. And because despite the fact that I had to use my towel to dry up the floor from the water running outside of the shower cabin everytime someone showered, the owners wanted me to pay 5 euros for a new towel. With some improvements this hostel could easily be a 5 star hostel. Thank you :)

Very nice and cozy place
I had a really good time in this hostel. It was nice and cozy. The location is ideal, and the metro is quite close. The service is excellent. Julie, the manager, is extremely attentive and nice. She is always willing to help out with bookings and information of not only Madrid, but Spain as a whole, and with the best attitude towards the guests. She was extremely helpful to me during my stay. I would definitely go back again.

It's a new hostel that is very very clean, modernised, hip and metro! Location is also good, about 10-15mins from Madrid central and away from all the noise yet easy to get to the heart of the noise! Shared bedrooms and bathrooms/showers-it is self-service check-in but is ok as you can reach staff for help with the help button. PC, vending machine and common area to use to meet people, work or socialise! Only downside is that the hostel tell you that you need to self- check-in with the booking reservation code they sent you - this is incorrect, many people do not receive this 10 digit code and you often have to press the 24hr button for help. This needs to be improved on as I helped one guest as he could not check himself in, he had to sleep in the lounge!

Excelent location and Stuff
As a lonely travleling girl, I stayed 1 week at this hostel, and I felt very safe. I stayed in the special room for women. All stuff were very helpful and friendly. Especialy, I wanna thank to Paula. When you have a problem, they're willing to solve it. The only negative side of the hostel is about dishes. They don't have a speacial area for cleaning them and you have to clean them at the shared bathroom.

Bonito lugar para dormir y dejar tus cosas
Excelente lugar para pasar unos dias, dejar tus cosas, turistear y solo dormir, ambiente ameno, limpio, clima frio por el aire acondicionado la cual es la unica ventilacion, habitaciones con ventanas cerradas, refrigador minusculo para la cantidad de huespedes, insuficiente cantidad de conectores electricos en zona comun, algo caotica la maquina de ingresos y en lo personal, me tue que tender mi propia cama y me robaron comida del frigo

El lugar está buen ubicado de facil acceso al transporte público el proceso de check in es un poco confuso, el servicio es muy impersonal no se siente el 'hostal vibe'.. las habitaciones son muy pequeñas no hay espacio para moverse, las camas son cómodas y limpias. No es el mejor Hostel en el que me he hospedado pero es un buen lugar.

The hotel was clean and the beds were clean. The shower room and toilet were also clean. However, I couldn't sleep because of my roommate's voice and noise at 3am. I was careful to be quiet because it was noisy, but the noise was loud even after that. It's a pity that I didn't have a roommate even though the hotel was good.

Buen lugar pero le faltan servicios y personal
El hostel es bueno y bien ubicado, pero no tiene cocina lo cual es escencial para un hostel. En la planta subsuelo no hay buena señal de internet. Le falta espacios para comer pues solo hay una mesa y la usan para trabajar. Otro adunto es que no hay casi nadie trabajando en el lugar, todo es por mensajes y una maquina.

저렴하고 깨끗한 호텔
중심가에서 뗄어져 있어서 이동하기에 불편하다. 식당시설이 협소하여 식사하기에 불편하고 침대가 다닥다닥 붙어있어 생활하기에 불편하다. 하지만 깨씃하고 사물함 자물쇠가 잘 되어 있다.

O quarto e super pequeno. Qdo cheguei tinha 4 pessoas no dia seguinte ja tinha oito, num espaço minusculo, sem janela, sem ventilação. O chão sempre sujo. Peguei covid neste hostel. Porque chegou uma pessoa com muita tosse e gripe. Passou a noite toda tossindo. Imagina dentro de um cubículo sem janela e sem ar. Todos respirando o mesmo ar. Um absurdo.

Otel konum olarak gayet iyi bir yerde, ancak otele giriş yaparken herhangi bir personel olmadığı için sıkıntı yaşadık. Çünkü önceden gönderilecek olan giriş kodları mailimize gönderilmedi ve rezervasyon koduylada giriş yapamadık. Konuşma tuşu ile yardımcı olunmaya çalışıldı ama giriş makinası sürekli takılma yaşandığından dolayı uzun süre kapı dışında bekledik. Genel olarak otel konforlu ve temizdi.

Pensaram em tudo, menos no conforto do hóspede
A quantidade de notas altas desse hostel me incentivou a fazer essa avaliação. É de ressaltar que os proprietários inovaram em vários aspectos, porém esqueceram o principal, que seria a qualidade do sono dos hóspedes. O hostel abusou em colocar num mesmo espaço fisco um grande quantitativo de pessoas, pra mim ultrapassaram o limite do bom senso, higiene e preocupação com o próximo.

No entanto, parece que o problema é que você queria dividir um quarto com um número menor de pessoas, por isso lembramos que no Petit Hostel temos quartos para 4, 6 ou 8 pessoas, embora você tenha optado por dormir em um quarto compartilhado de 12. Saudações!

High tech hostel
Very nice overall, high tech hostel with self check in machine and lockers that lock with the door card (no need for padlock). Clean and neat, common area is small and shower didn't drain very well, but still top notch.
