"One night only, but everything was fine. Breakfast, however wasn’t up to safety standards. Gravy was room temperature. No biscuits for the gravy. Bacon and sausage were a lot below 140 degrees. Coffee was tepid."

"When I visit Madison I usually stay near the capitol, but that wasn’t available. This location is a bit further but a winner - parking was free and easy, bike share (b-cycle) dock on property, right on bike/foot path to Lake Monona and downtown. Great for morning walks and getting back and forth. Staff were also very friendly and accommodating. Rooms have a strange layout with closet in bathroom- but a minor issue"

"Nothing majorly unique about the property, but in spite of the fact that there were multiple rugby teams staying at the hotel, you couldn't tell by the noise. Bathroom fixtures are a little dates but they work just fine. Would stay there again. "

"Modern. Relatively cheap. Staff was super friendly and helpful. I really loved the "college dorm" feel of the room -- and not an actual college dorm, more like what movies portray college dorms as. Didn't much appreciate the gay pride stuff around -- but it's Madison."
