Candidly this hotel worked out. Pricey for a basic hotel. Staff was great and rooms very clean. Location was spectacular. Easy 1 mile walk to old town, beautiful to walk across the street to a Lakefront. Bus stop 500 ft away if needed

Wonderful and charming boutique hotel with a caring front desk staff. We stayed in the junior suite and enjoyed the lake views and small balcony where we were able to keep the doors open. The property is away from the busy old town core—yet close enough to walk in for dinner. If coming in from the train station highly recommend jumping on the bus—easy and convenient. The charm of this property is deep—a wonderful stay. The front desk team made a few restaurant recommendations which were fantastic as well. Thanks for an outstanding stay!!!

My husband and I stayed in this charming historic hotel as the final stop on our two week honeymoon through France and Switzerland. We absolutely loved it! It’s artsy and elegant, with a theme of “True Love”…which was just perfect for us! The hotel overlooks a beautiful public park and Lake Lucerne, and is within easy walking distance to everything. Our room was spacious and comfortable, had fun whimsical decor and nice fluffy bedding! The breakfast was delicious! The best part…the wonderful staff who went out of their way to provide personal attention and make sure our stay was just perfect! We LOVED this hotel and are already planning to return for our anniversary! :-)

Beautiful view of the lake! The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. If you have a lot of luggage prepare to carry it up some stairs.

The room is super huge for 3 pax, in fact it has 2 rooms for 3 pax and a common living room in the middle! I was quite amused with the size and the front view of the hotel is super good as it is near the lake!

We stayed for 1 night and it is a lovely, artsy quaint hotel. Lots of little extras that mean a lot. Outlet converters to borrow, water, chocolate, pink toilet paper, chandeliers over the bed and THE VIEW!! We had a lakeside balcony room and it was so beautiful. It is a short bus ride or taxi from Old Town and the train station. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again.

My wife and I loved our stay. The staff were so friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make our stay that much better. The location is fantastic with a wonderful view of the lake and a short, beautiful 10-minute walk to downtown. We would highly recommend this hotel!

Very quaint property with charm. A little walk along the lake to old town, maybe .5 mile. Breakfast was eggs cooked to order, fresh ingredients, dairy, delicious bread and made to order barista coffee. The room is small but the balcony was nice. Only negative is they let people smoke on the balconies and right out front down below so if you are not a smoker you have to close your doors and windows or your whole room smells like smoke and you can't enjoy the balcony.

Amazing 150 year old boutique hotel! The lakefront location was great and right along the bus line. The service was outstanding! The only downside is the rooms are small, but understandable considering the age of the property.

We loved our stay here! The staff was so courteous and friendly. They had our room ready early and provided us with helpful information for around town. There is a cute bar/ lobby and ice cream available for purchase which was a hit with our 4 year old. The 3 bedroom suite was great for a family of four (me, my husband, my 4 heat old and 7 month old). Despite it being a hotel we didn’t feel cramped at all. The art around the hotel was unique and we even purchased a piece as a souvenir (added bonus)! I would definitely recommend staying here !

This was a reasonable hotel, but they gave us the lamest room. The photos are a bit deceiving, so make sure you pay for an upgraded room for a reasonable view, otherwise you'll be looking out over a crappy back alley! However, the bed was great and it was very clean. It's well run and in an EXCELLENT location, walkable to downtown and along the lake.

Lovely location across from lakeside park.Room very basic and missing features we are used to in North American hotels. Breakfast great. Front desk staff member went out of his way to help when suitcase handle broke. Provided a case that had been rejected by another guest-got us home more easily.
