Fantastic for ctoss country skiing. Traclks start straiaght from the doorstep and are very welll maintained. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Pitty the restaurant wasn't open in rhe evening. I wasn't keen on O'lery's. Had fish and chips there first evening. They were lukewarm and literally just fish and chips - no peas. Ended up having a good breakfast and then buying sallads from the local supermarkert (about 20 min walk away) or the little shop in the hotel. There was a microwave in the corridor so that was another option. It was just a 10 minute bus ride from airport to hotel.

I have seen a couple of hotels in the area, and I can tell the comfort level of this hotel was good. The rooms in the main building are not the most modern, but I really liked the comfort level. The room was warm enough, we liked the bedsheet and the pillow. It felt fresh and new. We had a good sleep. The only downside that there was no fridge in the room. The lady at the reception was super nice. We departed early and got breakfast package, which I appreciated a lot. The content was really good. Thanks for the hospitality.

A bit worn down hotel and spa long away from Ruka
A bit worn downhotel and spa with mediocre breakfast. Long distance from Ruka. Villas by the lake nicer option nicer option than the hotel itself.

Ihan ok
Melko tyly vastaanottovirkailija. Perus aamiainen, meluisa kylpylä. Ei millään tavalla luxus hotelli mutta oikein hintansa väärti kuudelle.

Very nice spa hotel,close to Kuusamo airport and all the attractions on the area.Good breakfast with plenty to choose from.Did not try their lunch.Spa area good with enough space to relax.

Wonderful hotel
We had a very pleasant stay and everything was more than we expected. Staff was really friendly and helpful and our room was really spacious and clean. Delicious and generous breakfast, nice spa. Location is good and the area around the hotel is beautiful. We will definitely come back.

comfortable and convenient
I stayed here for 2 nights and the price was right for convenience. the room is comfortble and the SPA was great to have included but I wouldn't necessarily pay extra to access the facilities if you just wanted to swim. The only down side was the blurb about having 24hr access to airport shuttle. This proved to be misleading, especially if you were waiting for a flight that wasn't run by Finnaire. Overall I would recommend staying - beds are comfortable and breakfast is good.

Great facilities but very expensive
Great facilities for children but the additional charges for use of the pool and angry birds play are extortionate. 38 Euros for one adult and one child to use the pool for a single visit and a family ticket for a single use of the angry birds play was almost 50 euros, they charge for adults too and you can't take drinks in so can't sit and watch the kids with a coffee!! Such a shame as everything else about the place is terrific

Spa is not what we expected it to be
The hotel doesn't seem to be as new as it appears on pictures. We were particularly disappointed by the Spa area. The indoor pool is mostly for kids and not for swimming. The sauna area is ok. There is one mixed steamer, the other saunas are separated.

Good for families, overpriced
This is a family-friendly semi-resort hotel with a large pool, spa, water slide, and saunas in a plastic-fake-tropic decor. Breakfast buffet was both typical/standard and good. However, in summer, the hours of the bar/cafe and game rooms was overly limited. The standard rooms are quite small; definitely cramped for 2 people with luggage. The "hot" tubs/jacuzzis in the spa area were tepid, not hot. Hordes of mosquitoes made outside walks challenging. Overall, if one has kids who love splashing around in pools and faux waterfalls, this might be a good pick. Otherwise, find a better value.

Das Hotel selbst war sehr schön Die Zimmer funktional eingerichtet. Im großen und ganzen ist das Hotel sehr sauber. Nur unter unserem Bett lag eine dicke Schicht Staub, die trotz 2x bestellter Bodenreinigung nicht erfolgt ist. Bei der Suite wäre es super, wenn der Kinderbereich evtl durch einen Vorhang abgetrennt werden. Ein Fenster zum Öffnen wäre auch sehr schön. Die Sauna war spitze und die Betten sehr bequem. Beim Frühstück war genug Auswahl da, ein Kaffeevollautomat wäre super. Leider waren viele Tische für Reisegruppen reserviert, so dass man öfter keinen Sitzplatz bekommen hat. Das Schwimmbad war sehr schön, aber etwas frisch für kleine Kinder. Das O'Larrys hat mega leckere Burger. Der Spielepark hat den Kinder auch sehr gefallen. Die Landschaft ist einfach herrlich und wir konnten direkt vom Zimmer aus die Polarlichter sehen.

Olimme varanneet lemmikkiystävällisen perhehuoneen, mutta saimmekin lemmikkihuoneen. Huone oli asiallinen, mutta varustelussa jäi kaipaamaan erityisesti jääkaappia ja myös mikrolle olisi käyttöä. Aamiainen ei tarjonnut rahalle vastinetta, sillä tilojen ja tarjoilujen kapasiteetti ei riittänyt kävijämäärään nähden. Erityisruokavaliot (glut. ja vegaaninen) oli huomioitu valitettavan huonosti.

Hotellihuone oli todella kuuma. Ei pystynyt nukkumaan vaikka ulkona oli paukkupakkaset. Sitten ulkoilun jälkeen kun ajattelit meneväsi ihanasti kylpylään lämmittelemään, niin jopa porealtaan vesi oli kylmää. Ravintoloissa todella kallista. Puffetisaa halvimmat kanankoivet 40e ja toisessa ravintolassa vajaa kahvikuppi 3,5e. Puitteet olisi hyvät kun vähän viilattas.

Suuri pettymys ettei kylpylän remontista ollut mainittu mitään. Todella pienet kylpylämahdollisuudet. Huoneet jo aikaa nähneet ja kaipaisivat uudistusta. Aamupala ja sijainti hyvä.
