The property facilities are good but the service is average and seems the staff shortage affecting the service level. Food quality is average.

The staff were unaccommodating , dismissive, and unhelpful and lacking insight into guests needs. They were unwilling to accommodate us for breakfast because we did not book at the time of our initial reservation - despite their dining room being more than 1/2 empty and when nearly all other restaurants in town were closed because of the day of the week ( apparently most breakfast places are closed on Wednesday.) They could have made our stay terrific with the slightest effort which they were unwilling to make.

Lovely central and authentic modern hotel
Overall a nice authentic experience in a convenient location. Only let down by uncomfortable beds and lack of drinks available from the bar after 10pm! The authentic japenewe breakfast was beautifully presented but there were no other food options if it was not to your liking. Rooms were clean well equipped with nice bathrooms. Hotel very central and within easy reach of the main centre.

The dinner that we had for 2 night was superb, presentation and taste like a Michelin star restaurant. Room was spacious with a view, staff were attentive and willing to help with any requests even at night. BF box tasted good. Within walking distance from bus terminal and maybe that’s why the hotel doesn’t offer a shuttle bus service which we needed due to our large-sized luggage

部屋やロビーなどはとても良い雰囲気で良い香りも漂っていて良かったですが、脱衣所の床がビチョビチョなのが気になりました。またお風呂の洗い場の水捌けが悪かったのが残念です。あと、食事がとても高かったので付けずに近くで食べましたが、朝ご飯だけでも軽食で利用出来れば良いなぁと思いました。

Modern onsen hotel and restaurant
Room with excellent tidiness. Food in the restaurant is tasty and various. Overall it’s a decent place to stay. However, if you have driven your car to come, you may have to park a bit far (though there is a guide will lead you there and drive you back to the hotel). Secondly, there is no private onset in my room and I have booked a private onsen room. It’s just only a bath which costs a bit expensive for an hour but it’s clean and tidy. Thirdly, maybe it’s just only my room’s issue, the curtain cannot be closed, I should report it but anyway…

木材を判断に使った施設のデザイン😀素晴らしいです。スタッフに隈研吾さんのデザインてますか、お聞きしたら「はい」嬉しそうな回答でした。😃 　あまり宿泊客から聞かれたことがないとも言ってました。 　しかし、入り口までの回廊でこれから始まる宿泊のドラマを感じ、フロント、廊下、レストラン、客室たも木の温かみを感じ心身ともに癒されました。 　素晴らしいです😃 　懐石料理も美味しくいただきました😊 　ただ、エレベーターは、2機欲しいですね。アルコールの自販機や土産コーナーなども欲しいところです。😅 　これもデザイナーやオーナーのコンセプトなのですかね。🤓 　また、訪れたいお宿です。😉

館内がとても綺麗に保たれていました。大浴場の露天風呂もよかったですが、屋上貸切露天風呂の雰囲気も最高でした。朝食も趣向を凝らしたメニューが用意されており、滞在時間はゆったりとした気持ちで過ごせました。
