This was such an adorable resort. We loved being right close to the beach! Only a walk across the resort to get there. It was a nice quiet clean beach. The food as well as the surrounding area had lots to do but still felt quiet and tucked away. The staff was super friendly and helpful in everything we needed. I would stay here again!!

Short stay OK
Hotel rooms are nice, with pool-facing porch areas and refrigerator in the room. Beach is rather limited but you can leave the hotel grounds and walk to better areas. Disappointed that extra bed requested turned out to be a plastic-covered metal frame fit for a 4-year-old and not a real bed - impossible to sleep on or even relax. Staff tried to accommodate our needs and restaurant crew were friendly.

The hotel was very close to the beach and the shops. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We wanted a twin room, they are all in the older part of the resort and a bit run down.

Excellent séjour
Très bonne impression générale à l'arrivée, jardin fleuri très agréable, petit restaurant sur la plage charmant le soir, personnel souriant et amical, 3 magnifiques piscines dont une immense, mer et plage toutes proches, village de Maenam tout proche aussi avec commerces, massage, calme, standing. Séjourné 3 fois dans 3 types de chambre, chacune étant différente et ayant leur charme.

Great location, on a good beach with cute local streets and shops nearby. Hotel pools were great and the rooms were very clean and tidy (cleaned everyday). Due to some poor 'neighbours' we had to move rooms. The first room we couldn't fault (with the exception of a rather hard mattress) but the second one had a blocked drain in the shower, difficult shower head (wouldn't angle down) and plug in sink wouldn't work. Whilst the staff were friendly enough, they were real sticklers for the rules and it didn't have the typical friendly, personal feel that we are used to in Thailand. Staff were just doing their job but it was all about money first (from management??).

Not my best stay at The Florist
I've stayed with The Florist on a few occasions previously and have loved it. But this time things could have been better. On my first few days there the pool outside the room was very cloudy and starting to go green. It took then two days to get the pool right again. Also had a bit of an issue with 5 young families that stayed for one night and stayed up drinking till late and used everyones else's decks and spaces.

Location perfect.
Near town and in the beach. Pool amazing. Rooms large. Staff were the best. They were so friendly and helpful. Only thing could have been better was lighting poor near mirrors in room.

Tout était parfait. Un superbe bouquet de roses nous a été remis à notre arrivée. Le personnel est charmant : souriant, aimable... l'emplacement est super, les "pieds dans l'eau", la chambre très agréable. Nous avons loué un scooter, pris des navettes pour les excursions et les transferts pour l'aéroport tout çela géré par l'hôtel.

Great hotel! On beach(only see view rooms have beach frontage and private outdoor area) and grand deluxe rooms have pool access from room and are also interconnected rooms being the family room.. If you walk right from beach, there's a street of nice restaurants about 2 hotels up There a 3 pools but the cheepest rooms pool in centre and small not as directly accessible from 1 step out your room Quiet area not party town!

Värsta sorten av hårda sängar! Som tur är sov vi bara 1 natt. Annars fräscht o härligt att ha poolen precis utanför rummet med terass (Grand deluxe rum)

Lugnt och skönt strandnära hotell
Vi hade poolsiderum med poolen direkt utanför dörren och havet ca 50 m bort. Rummen rätt slitna men allt fungerade och var helt ok. Ligger en bit bort från huvudgatan så den störs man ej alls av. Litet utbud vid frukost, fanns dock en kock som fixade omeletter m.m.

Herzlicher Empfang, Gute Verständigung, da ein ausreichendes Englisch gesprochen wird, sehr freundlicher Umgang mit den Gästen, gutes Personal auf allen Ebenen, besonders die Zimmer Reinigung.

Dette var et meget bra hotel til en rimelig pris. Kanskje det beste oppholdet. Tre fine basseng bare noen få meter fra utgangsdøra. Anbefales på det sterkeste.

Nice but ... Rough round the edges
The hotel is right on the beach and has 3 swimming pools which was a nice feature. We went in late August and the hotel felt very empty. It had these lovely pools but we didn't see anyone use them (we stayed 3 nights) as the few other guests preferred the beach (as did we). The room (like the rest if the hotel) at first glance was lovely. However, look a little closer and the plumbing certainly wouldn't meet safety regulations in the U.K. - there was an electric wire next to the shower. To change the temperature settings on the shower you have to be a giant as the controls are ceiling height. Also once flushing the toilet the tap in the sink didn't always work for about 10 minutes. For breakfast they will try and charge you 300 baht for an all you can eat buffet breakfast (per person). My advice is order a breakfast items separately as you can have 2 portions of pancakes or French toast and a hot or cold drink each at a total of 200 baht for 2 people all together. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an affordable beachside hotel in a quieter part of ko Samui. The hotel staff are very helpful and it's walking distance to the Thursday market. But if you have a bigger budget go elsewhere for better plumbing

Vänlig personal som alltid kunde ställa upp, rummet var rent och rymligt. Restaurangen var kanske inte lika bra, men det finns gott om matställen i närheten.

Dommage que la literie et serviettes de bain ne soient pas propres. Malgré avoir demander le changement de draps, c'était pareil. Lit pas confortable on sentait les ressorts et bruits au moindre mouvement. Le plus cest la proximite de la plage et de restaurants.

Die Matratze war durchgelegen, auch die ausgetauschte. Handtücher waren nach einmaligem Gebrauch muffig. Das Personal war freundlich. Englischkenntnisse aber leider nur zum Teil vorhanden. Strand war schön. Bei starkem Regen leider kein Internet.

Great hotel right on a lovely beach
We booked for 4 days at first - then continued to stay till the end of our time on Kohn Samui. The staff are great; breakfast is fine; the beach is twenty steps away and overlooked from the restaurant. Rooms are fine and comfortable with daily maid service. The town itself is ok but not many people here at the moment - come Thursday, market night will change that!! There are nice bars and restaurants along the lovely beach walk but if you want more there is Cha Weng or Bo Phut a 200thb or so ride away in an open taxi (the truck with benches - great ride!). But do expect to pay more for your return at night. The hotel is obviously not "Posh" but don't let the inexpensive price deceive you - there is nothing backpacker about this hotel. Flash packer and above!! (it's cheaper still if you book three days or more!) Where else can you dine on a lovely beach, steps from your room for these prices?

Le Florist Resort N'EST PAS un resort !
Hôtel (très) calme avec de belles piscines (si l'on aime la natation), mais surement pas un Resort. Le Breakfast ne vaut même pas la peine qu'on lever pour ça. Dans les Superior Deluxe on Pool, les matelas sont durs, défoncés, on dort mal. Réveil plein de courbatures. Enfin les chambres sont aménagées en dehors de tout esprit logique : serrure, prises électriques, interrupteurs, etc. Resume: + le calme, ++ belles piscines, -- literie inconfortable, --- le petit dej' très mauvais, ---- bcp trop cher pour l'endroit et les services (qui n'existe pas).

Schöne Anlage direkt am Strand
The Florist liegt in Mae Nam direkt am Strand. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit direktem Zugang zu einem kleinen Pool und eine große Terasse. Ideal für unseren 5 jährigem Sohn, der auch mal alleine im Pool plantschen konnte. Außerdem gibt es noch zwei große Pools zum Schwimmen. Der Strand und das Meer sind sauber und schön zum Baden. Das Hotel bekommt trotzdem ein paar Punkte Abzug, da es ein paar kleinere Mängel hat: das Bett hat sehr stark gequietscht, die Handtücher hatten ab und an ein paar Flecken und müffelten nach einmaligem Gebrauch und die Zimmer und Bad wurden nicht so gut sauber gemacht. Wir waren sechs Nächte dort und mit der Zeit fallen dann solche Dinge auf. Das Frühstück war sehr "basic" und ein bisschen lieblos. Dennoch würde ich das Hotel für einen kurzen Abstecher empfehlen, da es auf Koh Samui ganz gut liegt und die Anlage schon schön ist.

Great price for the room and location, close to the pier if you are traveling to other islands. The hotel does not help with taxis or airport transportation unless you tell them the day before (which they did not mention to us when we checked in). Otherwise the hotel is clean, pools are nice, and breakfast is pretty good.

Zeer net hotel, fijne tijd gehad hier. Je moet echter wel een scooter of iets dergelijks huren want in de omgeving is niet veel te doen. Receptie spreekt matig Engels.

Easy if you need to get to the pier.
Room was clean and a nice size. BreaKfast I'm front of the ocean was beautiful. Staff were nice. Bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on
