Lanta Lapaya Resort
3.5 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (51)
"I initially was thinking of changing my reservation to stay beachfront (Lapaya is a short walk to the beach) and I’m so glad I didn’t. The bungalows are super cute and roomy. The bed is comfortable and everything is very clean. The staff are amazing and so warm and inviting. They were able to help me with everything I wanted to do during my stay, including renting a scooter and booking an excursion. I would definitely stay here again! "

"Great family resort! Our villa was amazing and had spectacular views! Be prepared to do a lot of uphill walking! My elderly parents used the shuttle/golf cart service each time as they were readily available to pick up and drop off all around the property. Staff were so helpful and friendly! Beware of the monkeys…my son and I lost one flip flop to the little thieves…"

"Loved the pool access room we had. The morning sun was great. The only downside was the 114 stairs to get up to the room. If your older like myself and find stairs a challenge then maybe look for other easier access properties."

Peace Paradise Beach
3.0 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very good, (55)
"Absolutely horrible. The only positive thing is the nearby ocean. The room was REALLY crappy and outdated. A big hole in the ceiling above the shower hose, missing tiles in the shower, no sun beds, two out of three stairs to the pool was broken and the pool was broken. Restaurant only open for breakfast that was not worth mentioning and the buildings are slowly falling apart. I’ve stayed in a lot of “not so good” places in Thailand but this most definitely tops them all. "

SriLanta Resort and Spa
4.0 star property
7.8 out of 10, Good, (342)
"Was an enjoyable stay. Property is divided into a beachfront area with pools and restaurants and the actual lodging area on the other side of the road. There’s a pedestrian tunnel that goes under the road. Our lodgings were a decent walk from the beachfront. Would have been a little difficult for anyone with mobility issues. They provide a shuttle service but that can be unreliable at certain times of the day though. Overall would still recommend though. Family enjoyed the beach a lot. "
