I had an amazing 3-day stay here by myself. It was a lovely break in a great location. Very close to Kemi, close to restaurants, bars and shops. Beautiful views and friendly staff!

I was looking forward to staying the night at the Glass Villa. But to my disappointment, the night was noisy due to the villa being right next to the caravan park. Also, the curtains didn't close properly so there was a visible access to the neighbouring villa. The curtains should really overlap. The villas are way too close to each other. There's no privacy. But the worst was the morning. I woke up, and was about to check my phone but to my horror, the phone wasn't working. It had gotten totally soaked during the night due to leaking roof. The table was covered in water, and the night's rain storm had made its way in and soaked the table and the floor...and destroyed my new phone with it. I was not amused.

This place was beautiful and with a great view! Super clean and friendly staff! I wish the town itself had things to do. From a tourist point if view there was nothing to do besides enjoy the hotel. I highly recommend spending at least one night it is gorgeous

A Hidden Gem
The Seaside Glass Villas are the perfect stop-over if you're on your way to Rovaniemi. The villas are a great value comparing to similar glass dome hotel stays. If Icebreaker Sampo is on your list, then a stay at villas almost pays for itself when you compare the additional shuttle cost to come from Rovaniemi. The restaurant at the Snow Castle Resort is not to be missed. I'd stop through Kemi just to have dinner there. The best Arctic inspired cuisine I've had in any of the Nordic countries.

We stayed in 2 stories cabin. The lower level is sofa bed so this left tiny space for luggages. But huge restroom and Sauna:) The place is very clean , WiFi is good . Staff are very helpful. Very convenient if you take Sampo Icebreaker tour.

Poor service and small room
We have booked two rooms, a seaside room and a villa, villa room have in-room sauna. We went there in winter, it is hard to move the luggages in the snow, we asked for help and the receptionist told us it cost €11 per person for send our luggages to room. It is crazy. Secondly, the reason to living in glass villa because of northern light view or sky view. In the night time, they use a machine to make snow, therefore the sky view was blocked. We went to the reception and ask for stop, they told us it is commercial decision. In my point of view, they want us to join the northern light hutting Safari instead of staying in the room for views. At that night, we could not enjoy any view. We are not recommended this hotel as their attitude was poor, and small room.

As we are in the SnowCastle Resort, additionally to our all-year-round SnowExperience365, we build annually the winter SnowCastle. We make snow from sea water and with strong wind the snow sometimes drifts further away. The winter conditions in Lapland can be quite exotic and we try our best to help our visitors to get familiar with them. We will definitely pay attention to our service.
