Only issue was that the motel is also called Karratha Tavern. That is the name you see outside. Had to call the motel to ask if i was at the right place

Room condition
Looked clean and tide but smelled stuffy. Microwave too big and only one power point for appliances in kitchen area. Smoke alarm went off every time while cooking toast !
Currently under administration, but still ok to stay. A few issues with WiFi, but overall a good place to stay and not far from the main shopping precinct. Rooms are dated, but clean and adequate.
The room was like an oven when I walked in.It took two hours for the battling old air conditioner to cool the room down to an acceptable level where it was bearable.
The flooring is delaminating and looks terrible.
Time to spend some money guys, the glory days are over when you could rip into customers!
The room wasn't really clean the smoke detector hanging out of the ceiling food was poor not all foxtel channel were working that was stated in the book

Sorry to hear that your stay was not enjoyable I am addressing the issues with our staff.
It sucked. Hot room, bad air con, poor service. From the moment i entered until i left, if I wanted anything changed/fixed, it was a hassle. Would never return or refer anyone here. (good pub though, so too bad.)
Room keys didn't work, air con didn't work. Had to wait half an hour for staff to arrive to fix.
Ended up being moved to another room, then another room key didn't work. Shower almost flooded the floor in the bathroom. Place next door recommended for food was also poor - took my order but forgot to pass on to kitchen, waited over an hour and when queried no apologies or offer of discount etc for inconvenience.
Whole experience was poor - would not go back.
a bit disappointed with cleanliness of room, opened door and floor covered in cockroaches, Given another room which had leak in bathroom flooding floor
Floor was not swept very well and bathroom floor flooded from shower even with the shower curtain in place.
Bed was comfortable and there was no issue with noise from the Tavern next door.

If its your only option
Very close to a good pub and decent restaurant but the overall cleanliness of the room was quite poor.
Bathroom had half used shampoo/body wash bottles etc. I would suggest to take a pair of thongs to wear in the shower too.
The room has full window and door shutters for your protection and to help keep some noise out, no idea how to use them....
Foxtel was a nice surprise and was ok
The room was quiet, clean and comfortable with outside sitting area and close to the tavern and Bali Garden restaurant. Plenty of parking available and close to sports field for early morning walks etc.
Despite being located behind a tavern where the local mine workers generally congregate this hotel was beautifully furnished. The bathroom areas are wonderful and very modern. The surrounding gardens are Bali inspired. There was a small amount of noise when the Tavern closed and when neighbouring guests arrived back in their rooms but generally a pleasant stay. We would stay here again if in Karratha.

Budget accommodation but overpriced
Only 1 chair for 2 people. Shower leaked water over floor
The shower water ran across the tiles, past the drain and into the bedroom area, I spent 25 minutes, naked & wet mopping it up before I could comfortably dry myself.
The motel is attached to a pub, no signage anywhere, I drove around for 1/2 an hour trying to find the place, eventually I went to the pubs bottle shop to find out that it was the motels reception.
Do not believe the photos they lie.

Nice motel and had an enjoyable stay. Delicious oysters in the Bali restaurant at the tavern that is part of the motel facilities. The rooms are comfortable and nicely presented, although the mattress on our bed was a little collapsed on one side.
We enjoyed our stay.
Functional and cheap (for the region) best describe this place for me. Could tell the rooms in this place get a hard work out. Floorboards warped and cracked, huge gaps between boards and lacquer coating flaking off all over the place. Air conditioner was functional (cold) but the fan had impossible-to-bear clicking noise that sounder like a propellor plane in the room. A layer of grey red dust on all surfaces. Only one hanger in the wardrobe. Bathroom sink leaking at bottom of u-bend - water spills out onto floor. Shower head leaking/spraying at joints spurting water out of the shower and onto the floor. Bathroom in general very grotty - felt like a communal park shower. The bed at least was clean and comfortable. The room lighting was also good. Very tight for space - two people in these rooms would be all over each other. I was there for only 12 hours - most spent sleeping and that was enough. I understand this is an Industrial town rather than a tourist hotspot.

One night in Karratha
Almost $140 for a night in a small portion of a converted sea container. Value - no, alternatives - less, but that is the reality of the area.
The accommodation provided was clean and served the purpose, somewhere to sleep and have a tub, and with efficient air conditioning and basic amenities.
Facilities: Tired, Nothing special, Old; Service: Inferior, Rude, Bad; Cleanliness: Filthy, Smelly, Grubby, Toilet was crusty!;
I will not be staying there again, and don't recommend the motel to anyone.
On arrival we had to wait quite some time to get our key as the bottle shop was busy. The floor in our room was torn and badly worn and we soon found out it was from the flooding in the bathroom. When you showered the whole bathroom flooded. There was no way of stopping this from happening. The air conditioner was freezing and it didn't seem to adjust. So we were either hot with it off or freezing with it on. Sadly the fridge didn't work when you were out of the room so we never had cold drinks to come home to. We were very disappointed with this room. It needs a major upgrade.
