"Our junior suite was amazing. We had locals sweets everyday in our room with explanation about the local ingredients. We had a beautiful view of the river and city and eat good & well balanced breakfast. The staff was very polite & gave us excellent service. Thank you so much! We enjoyed our stay!"

"Hotel was in a quiet area but just down the road from a main area. The hotel was quiet and they accommodated our early check in. We had a big room with a nice patio. The only issue was that there was a strong musk smell. I think it is due to the wood but one person in my group was sensitive to the smell and it bothered them. "

Staff have varying levels of English but thanks to Google translate it didn't cause any problems. The proprietor was very attentive and helpful and you can tell he's rightly very proud to be Japanese. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only thing I would say is we found the mattresses uncomfortable. That may be just our bodies, but we struggled. "

"I absolutely loved my stay here. The property supplied everything one could imagine. Even the most random things like shoe warmers. It was in a great location and we had a little bar right next to us so we could stop for a drink. Easy walk to the historic town or to the Samurai village. I would highly recommend it. "
