The property was fine, but I remember it 20 years ago. It needs an upgrade. The pool was great. Satu Lagi was also good, but smokey. Glad they had outdoor seating.

I especially love the floor plan. We stayed in the two bedroom, two bathroom. Traveling with my sister having our own space was very nice! I got the bedroom with no TV… she doesn’t watch TV…but her closest was bigger and she would not switch with me! The kitchen, dining room and living room were spacious and we were very happy with this property!

Went there and asked if the room had a balcony. Wanted to upgrade for a 3-bed. Hotel staff was very kind to show the interior of both 2- and 3-bed before the room assignment. The rooms are just really bare I guess that would be the best word to describe it. Intended to stay for longer time but booked couple nights just for the safe size as the photos from online are not the same as when walking into both units. Portable stove some sort in the 2-bed. It was old and white light white walls. It was so uncomfortable. I left without staying. Tried to ask for at least one night reimbursement. Hotel staff said no. This is a horrible experience to be honest. It is a solid for not returning.

On the positive side, the staff here are wonderful and extremely friendly. The hotel itself is very tired and in desperate need of an upgrade. Feels like the 1980s in a time warp. The smoking rooms were horribly unpleasant (we weren’t offered a non-smoking room), hard to believe these are even offered this day and age. Tolerable if you need to be in the area to avoid all the traffic.
The hotel has done a lot to improve - better-cleaned rooms, towels and services. Well done! Only the hotel still bears an old and slightly worn-down look but for someone looking for the convenience of being in the Pondok Indah area, this is a good place
I was very disappointed with this hotel. My friends and I selected it due to its pool bar. However, upon arrival we were informed that the pool bar was permanently closed - very misleading and deceiving.
Furthermore, I accidentally left my bathers at the hotel and returned the following day to retrieve them. I was disgusted that the hotel receptionist said on the phone that the bathers were owned by a “wanita yang gemuk”. Little did she know was that I can understand Bahasa and was aware of what she said. Very disappointing with both the closed pool bar and the offensive comment that was made about me by the receptionist.
Would not recommend!

and I have reviewed internally the operation staff during check in and also conversation attitude.
Regarding to our Pool Bar some several days before we are temporary closed because some project renovation and maintenance. Now we are open from 07.00 am to 20.00 pm.
We will improve consistency in our service standards and be involved to ensure that it will not happen again

Staff always goes out of their way to help with problems, only traffic around that Area is horrible in afternoon due to International School nearby. Room Service could act faster and food should be HOT when arrive, often it is sadly cool or cold.

The hotel room is old. Location is not good as there is hardly any nearby amenities within walking distance. My experience for breakfast in this hotel was not good as most of the food in the containers was already empty and not refilled, even it's just before 8.30 am.

The Hotel is not in a good condition.
The facilities at the swimming pool is not operational I.e. the swimming pool bar.
The breakfast is to expensive for the quality of the food
To expensive for what you get
Great locale, if you need to be near Jakarta Intercultural School. Right next to a Starbucks, and a market. Not right near any malls, but almost all you need on site: restaurant, bar, barber, big pool, fitness center, trainers, 24-hour room service, taxis ready and waiting, good security, etc.

I used to stay here before on business and it was good now on my last visit the room I had was noisy because of air conditioned and water dispecncer mentioned to front desk nothing done

Don't let the bug bites get you down!
One word on the decor - DATED! Desperately needs a refresh. BUT
the room is clean and the bed is divine! Mattress was firm, and the sheets were soft and clean. Best part of the stay.
But don't sit on the chairs and sofa. Fabric has not been cleaned for ages evidenced by the dust mite bites that I had.
But outside the room, the restaurant was nice and clean and airy. Food was pretty good. The swimming pool was really nice and the gym well stocked. Overall, it was a pleasant trip, bug bites notwithstanding!
Good location, very good hotel.
All Staff were friendly and available to help when required.
Rooms were very clean and maintained daily by housekeeping personnel.
Great gym and pool was very good.
Terrific breakfast and room service was efficient serving giod food.
Overall we had a enjoyable stay at Kristal.

Average hotel in a good location
It's a fairly average place which is slowly getting worn down due to no major upgrades or renovations. Having said that the rooms are large, relatively clean and maintenance is average
Just 3 minutes walk distance from JIS- IASAS international highschoolers sports events - & very safe security with convenient little stores & big supermarket right 1 minute walk distance away. So nice & kind people around hotel.
