"We enjoyed the atmosphere in the area. It was quiet and well maintained. The golf course across the street was pretty. The daily chicken visit was cute. It was drivable to shopping and the beach. Having a garage was nice. Beds were comfortable. There was plenty of outside gear such as beach chairs, snorkeling and bikes to ride. The furnishings were clean but dated. "

"The staff and property are amazing, but the location ended up being the best part. Kauai is beautiful everywhere, but the north shore area around HCR really takes the cake! Great, quiet beaches and a variety of things to do close by (but HCR is also far enough away that you don't feel like you're in a heavy tourism area). The shuttle service makes getting around easy but the staff also has good local knowledge/tips if you want to drive yourself. Don't think we'll stay anywhere else on Kauai now...

"One of my families favorite resort to stay while on Kauai. Grocery store just across the street, Starbucks couple places to grab a quick bite and one of Kauai 's best shave ice. Many restaurants in that area and not to far from the airport. The property is beautiful. "

"My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Princeton Westin resort. Only complaints are that the room carpet looked a little old, the onsite restaurant which was excellent is not open for breakfast. I Also think an outside bar would be something they should consider. Other than that it was great! The resort is beautiful and we loved watching the nene geese on the lawn"

"Everything is dated but clean. The worst thing is not the property itself but the traffic. Other than very early in the morning, it is impossible to make a left turn to exit the property. You have to make a right turn, find a place to make a left turn to get on the other side of the road and then head in the desired direction. The staff is friendly and helpful. "

"First time on Kauai? Please be aware, nothing is Ocean Front. You may see the ocean, but all housing is high on cliffs and far from the water. Between the roosters and the property maintenance workers, do not plan to sleep past 7 a.m! Would have been nice to have a food option on the property. I believe on some days there is now a food truck that parks there. If it is winter, choose housing on the south side of the island. "The property we stayed at had the quality of a fairly luxurious time share property, but for a fraction of the price. A short drive from Hanalei, and a short walk to a private beach. We had two full rooms, a full kitchen, two bathrooms, and a deck. I was also super pleased with the communication from their main staff member. However, be warned to read the fine print as you do have to pay a fairly costly cleaning fee as part of this rental. I would definitely go there again."

"Accessible to north, east (near family) and south of island, family friendly beach, and grocery stores. A/c is only in extra den with sofa bed so main room had ceiling fan but less circulation, and with windows open, you hear more louder neighbors stomping up/down stairs & loud voices in the middle of night. A/c wasn't needed in den since near patio doors; wished a/c was in main room for temperature and outside noise control. Traffic noise wasn't too bad despite having closest room to street....
