The service was good, the roof top bar is amazing! The room is clean, nice fruit platter, however the bed is the worst I’ve ever seen, too hard, can’t sleep at all, back pain, just terrible.

This has been my worst experience with a Hotel in HK. First, the room requested was for 2 Beds, and greeted with a single Double Bed. One Elevator the size of a test tube to get up and down, took forever to get to room. Narrow hallways, made it uncomfortable to to move with luggage. Open the room door and out comes the musky damp smell of cigarette, that made it almost impossible to sleep. Water pressure was non existent. The worst part was the price, more expensive than staying at the renassaince Across the street. Tried canceling second night and hotel would not let me, needless to stay, will never be staying at this property again. Beware of deceiving pictures.

Highly recommended. Would come back again.
Hotel provided fresh fruits on the first day. Very great clean stay. Great location just that a bit far from MTR station. Taking star ferry would be more convenient to go Tim sha Tsui. Moment changer with great rates right below the hotel. Many Michelin Star food stall around.

Good location in the Financial centre. Great choice of Western restaurants and cafes in the vicinity within the same block. Room basic, no frills , fair value for what you pay. Our room on the 7th floor had a good view of the causeway harbour and Kowloon on the opposite side. Close to the Ferry .

Convenient and value for money
Value for money; location is key. Walking distance to ferry, exhibition centre, causeway bay etc. Room is relatively good sized and building comes with machines for you to do your laundry, wash and dry. After working hours, is quiet and there are several food places nearby if you don't want to travel too far to get dinner

Nice spacious and good value for money spent.
Room was spacious and clean. The lighting and natural light with the harbor view is irresistible for you to show everyone off. The building is 5 mins from the HKCC via buildings connected walkway. You sometimes hear noise from the street but it is understandable. They even have welcome fruits for you which was a surprise. The toiletries, though not luxurious brand, but quite nice unlike many other hotels which come with pumps in the shower. I am not sure about parking but you can walk to the taxi stand right in front of the building to get anywhere or walk 15 minutes to MTR Wanchai. I would definitely recommend this place and will come back whenever I have a conference. They also have laundry room on 9 floor but I didn’t have time to use it.

The Wi-Fi router was placed on the side table next to the bed. We could only move it as far as the cable allowed, which wasn't the ideal min 1m away from the bed which I remembered reading somewhere.

Very convenient for Hong Kong Exhibition centre

The apartment was initially hard to find but once we got know our surrounding we found it was very close everything we needed e.g restaurants and transport.

Good option near HK Exhibition & Convention Center
A larger than average room in Wanchai a short walk to the Hong Kong Exhibition and Convention Center. There aren’t many facilities but Starbucks is across the street and there are many nearby restaurants. The wifi in my room did not work all the time and was slow when it worked.

Comfortable hotel with a convenient location
This hotel was very comfortable and in a great location for getting around Hong Kong. The room was spacious and well kept. It certainly beat my expectations and I would definitely recommend it! I also enjoyed the promised harbor view and appreciated the fresh fruit left on the dining table.

The shower is great! It has a on demand water heater in the room so the water temperature is perfect and never runs out. Up on the 42nd floor there are 4 workout rooms and on the 43rd floor you can access the roof with great views of the bay. I found the bed on the firm side but that seems typical for this region. There is a refrigerator in the room but no microwave... having a microwave would be great addition to the fridge for being able to reheat leftovers.

Nice hotel, very close to a ferry to Tsim Sha Shui
Overall, it was really a good stay. However, the rooftop should be open a bit longer during the New Year period so that guests can enjoy fireworks at the hotel.

This hotel was an excellent find!
While Apartment Kapok did not have a restaurant, there is so much within steps of the hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and the rooms were perfect. This is in a quieter area near the convention center but still very close to the bustling areas of Causeway and tons of great restaurants on Hennesey Rd.

Spacious apartment hotel, reasonably priced
Much bigger than most hk hotels. Generally clean room with basic amenities. Many eateries & amenities nearby & below hotel. Directly opposite Wan Chai swimming pool. Has a rooftop accessible to guests for a view of the skyline. Staff were rather helpful especially the gentleman on overnight shift. Helped me get a cab and with my luggage. Can be quite a walk to Wan Chai MTR especially after a long day. More accessible by bus, if you know how to take bus in hk. Lift was an issue though. 2 small lifts and each serving different floors. Hence, was a rather long wait for us each time we needed to go down or up. Could only fit 6adults. Fabric of sofa looks rather dirty. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this apartment, especially when space is a luxury in hk. Will recommend to others. Thumbs up!!

Convenient location
Reserved non smoking room. First room was a premium room but the smell of smoke overtook us at the door. Requested a replacement but hotel staff sent to inspect another available unit refused to complete what you would normally expect any hotel staff would do. I had to re-enter this smoke chamber to make the phone call to coordinate any necessary arrangements or go down to the lobby with my bags. With bad allergies, it caused my sinus problem to flare up immediately. We were given a new room but a two twin beds instead of the double bed reserved. Learned from front desk later that this facility does not have any official non smoking units as advertised in Expedia. An ash tray was sitting in the room. In addition, the pictures posted are not for the hotel room, they are mainly for the service apartments. Room size advertised to be over 452sq ft. The actual room size is only around 300 sq ft unless the room size quoted includes the common area in the hall way. Sound proof is poor. Other hotel guests talking outside sounded like they were in your room. One room has a welcome fruit tray offered while the other one did not. We checked out their rooftop terrace but it was reserved for some group party so it was not necessary available to everyone. Felt a little being cheated by what was presented in Expedia.

To avoid disturbing our guest resting and cleaning needs, the opening periods of rooftop garden as following: 11: 00-14: 00 15: 00--18: 00; 19: 00--22: 30. These times are open to our residents. As long as carrying a card can be enjoyed in the above period. Secondly, we apologize for the arrangement of your request for a non-smoking room and will review and improve it. Lastly, regarding the size of the room, our room is divided into two sizes, one is 459 sf and the other is 505 sqf. As all hotels in Hong Kong mark the floor area, the practical area of our hotel is about 70%. My sincere apologies that your stay with us did not meet your expectations. We hope to have you back at Kapok Apartment in future to demonstrate the improvements we will have made.

Centralised location, Near to many food joints.
Got a room with city view but it's more likely the view of other buildings rooftop, no complains about that. Space was very comfortable with a designated area for dining however the dangling light seems to be too low as i keep knocking into it, Another 30cm higher would be perfect. There's a designated work table by the side of the bed, no complains about that. Bed was too hard and pillows too soft (this is personal liking and it's individual preference and could defers from individuals). Pendent light cover is very very dusty. Aircon is very strong, perfect for those whom love it cooling or cold. Fridge was not that cold. Water seepage from the shower area to the main toilet area (Check Silicon Seal), Shower screen has the same issue. Shower head is leaking and the stand is faulty and unable to be adjusted.

Over all, the room is clean. But I hope they could clean the wall regularly. Because there is some splotch on the wall. Second, I hope they could put more signs in the room, such is how to use the electric water heater in bathroom. And also the free bottle water and fruit in room. The hotel is a little farther from the subway. You need at least 15 minutes to walk to the subway. But it is close to the bus stop and the ferry to Tsimshatsui.

1 Elevator was down, they have 3 elevators in total. Each elevator can only access a specific floor which can be quite inconvenient and you end waiting for a long time. And that the stay was great and impeccable service!

Serviced Apartment Near Convention Center
Check in was horrible as I was given a room reeking of cigarette smoke. When I complained stating that I had requested a Non Smoking Room, I was advised that there are No designated Non Smoking rooms! After waiting an additional hour I was provided another room which did not smell but had an ash tray. The staff apologised but the stay started poorly. The room and all thereafter met expectations and is very convenient.

Wouldn't stay again.
The room has basic amenities - tea and coffee maker,wifi, small fridge and television. The bed was hard, the mattress was stained down the sides plainly on view as the fitted sheets didn't cover the mattress properly. There was no real wardrobe, just a rail across the room and the only cupboard had shelves deep enough for only books. The kitchen had a kettle and instant tea and coffee options and was spacious - but no plates or dishwashing detergent or clothes etc despite there being a sink. Sofa was a pretty grotty basic thing with three grubby cushions. Bathroom and room large, but no view to speak of at level 6. Looking out into dingy roof and with blinds open, neighbours could also look right into your room. While in Wanchai, you had to walk about 10 mins to the MTR which is okay when the weather is cool - but just a bit too far away if it is a hotter day and you have been on your feet walking for hours.

Nicely comfortable
A nicely comfortable & clean hotel/apartment with excellent staff & within easy walking to the Convention Centre. Only 3 minor issues; 1. bed was far too firm initially but a call to the Concierge & a much softer mattres topper solved the problem 2. the rooms are part of a high tower block with 3 lifts splitting the floors between them. This makes for some relatively long waits for a lift. Usually using the fire stairs up or down one floor to another lift helps 3. It is often hard to get a taxi in this part of Wan Chai. There is a taxi rank just down Harbour Rd but it is for taxis going to Kowloon only - they won't take you locally on HK Island.

Couldn't ask for more!
Service was good. Check-in comes with dfs voucher. There is a free self service laundry room and games room. If you're lucky, your room will overlook the harbour

Spacious room close to everything in Wan Chai
We enjoyed our stay at Apartment Kapok. The room was as pictured in the photo with large windows on two sides of the room. It was conveniently located close to good restaurants and the mtr and ferry. It is also close to "old Hong Kong" on Johnston St with its markets, and to new upmarket shopping such as Times Square and Lee Tung Lane. The facilities at the hotel were good. The hotel had a laundry that was free to use. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Just a simple room
This is not an apartment: no living room and no kitchen. A/C was blowing directly on us I had to tape some cardboard on the fan so I would not get sick. The hotel itself and the staff are very nice. The location and the shower were great. I would have liked some directions as it took us for ever to find the entrance ( we were walking) and did not know about the bridges.
