You have to check in on a computer. They can hold your luggage, but you can't check in early. They have a great selection of food for breakfast. The onsen has 2 big tubs and a little tub. It was a nice hotel.

I was in a smoking room. I do not smoked but it was eye only room Available. I was up half the night with the scent of smoke burning my nostrils. Still, the staff was wonderful and they tried to find me a different room and mitigate the smell. Overall decent stay. Very efficient checkin.

Good location and super clean. Only downside is that the rooms are very small. Ok for a solo traveler though but if you are travelling as a couple you might want to consider other options.

On our trip we have learned that Apa hotels are very consistent: they have clean and well maintained rooms and they are reasonably priced. They also have great Onsens. They are no frills, the rooms are tiny, and in an attempt to be eco friendly they are charging for cleaning. The rooms at this hotel can be very humid very easily and the only way to solve that is by opening the window which makes the room louder. Personally I wouldn’t deter anyone from staying here but if you can stretch your budget a little further to the price of their bigger room, you can easily stay somewhere nicer
