The cats were SUCH a delight and the views and ambience of the place are amazing. "I am super impressed with how easy check in was, received an email with specific details. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. It was extra nice that our breakfast was in the room, especially because we wake up earlier than most guest. If we ever return to Volcano, we will absolutely be staying here again. Lots of restaurant options very close, the national park is extremely close too. Overall the perfect stay for my family. "

"I stayed two nights in Wolfie One. It was like a private cabin in a tropical forest. It is one of four units in a single building each unit having one corner of the building. There is a parking space, a nice, covered porch outside the entry, then a living room, a bedroom and a bath. In the living room there is a small refrigerator, a coffee maker but no microwave. There is a TV and DVD player. Do read the small instruction card to learn how to turn on the cable box and the TV. The water is NOT potable but a jug of drinkable water is provided. I had to keep the bedroom door closed to keep the smoke detector quiet. The check-in desk is at the nearby but separate Ace Hardware store which is unusual but workable. I had breakfast at the nearby Kilauea Lodge; highly recommended. I also enjoyed Ohelo Cafe for lunch."
