"We were surprised that we had to pay extra for heat in the property by purchasing heat credit. The property had a horrible Mildeu smell, which was present even with the windows open. Inside, it was very tired and very small. There is no way it sleeps five comfortably. The larger bed in the main bedroom was uncomfortable with a worn-out foam mattress. "Very convenient hotel for walking the Llanberis path. Great garden bar and the food in the restaurant is excellent. Staff very friendly and our room was pretty modern looking. Only slight negative is wobbly taps in the bathroom and it's a bit of a maze getting to the third floor. But would stay here again. 5 minutes walk to train up Mt Snowden and bus stop to other paths up the hill. Excellent example of a round tower behind the hotel and a scenic lake to have a swim in behind the bus stop."
