A great hotel if you either have a car or need to be by the airport. It is about 25 minutes from the old city, but not a terrible drive. The staff were extremely friendly. We had an issue with the drain being clogged when we arrived but they had someone there to fix it within 5 minutes. The breakfast was fairly good and there was a lot of parking.

Amazing
This was a last minute booking as our flight got cancelled a d we couldnt fly home until the next day. We hit the jackpot finding this place! The rooms are so comfortable and homey, the staff are all so helpful. The breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of choice. Added a picture of the cat we befriended as well, couldnt leave her out

Perfect for the night before our early morning flight! The staff are super friendly and helpful. The room was small but efficient with space - not somewhere we'd want to stay for several nights but again perfect for a single night. The area felt safe and was about 20-30 to downtown Chania for a bite to eat and exploring. Noting that the bed was fairly soft if that's a concern. We didn't get to take advantage but they do include a free breakfast that smelled wonderful as we were leaving for the airport. They have a pool area as well.

Convenient for airport
This hotel is very convenient for Chania Airport and I received a warm welcome despite arriving quite late at night. The room was spacious and comfortable. Just two critical comments - the shower had no curtain or door so after use the whole bathroom floor was wet for my whole stay. Coffee with breakfast was served from a flask and was neither fresh or hot.

Perfect hotel close to the airport
Conveniently located 5 min from the airport, this is the perfect hotel if you want to be close from and to your flight. There is no airport transfer service, taxi ride is 20 euros from , and 17 euros to the airport! Although the front desk arranged our taxi to the airport. It is important to rent a car when going around Chania from this location because there is no public transport nearby. The front desk assisted us with car rental once we arrived at the hotel, when we realized taxi rides will be very expensive around Chania. This was a local rental company, 90 euros for 2 days, car was delivered to and picked up from the hotel, including insurance. We calculated this is about reasonable considering going back to the airport to rent will cost another 17 euros. It is very helpful to drive a small car, and drive defensively- the streets are very narrow. The hotel staff is very accommodating, respectful and welcoming. Special mention to Natasha who made sure we have our taxi for the very early flight home, and to Anastassis who made espresso very early in the morning. The hotel structure (we were told) is 10 years old but it is very well-maintained, the bathrooms and the sheets are very clean. There is a family history to this hotel related to olive pressing, and you can see the old machineries in front! The neighborhood is quiet but you will also hear occasional fighter jets as the hotel is located near the military base. Overall we enjoyed our stay, and we recommend this hotel

Useful for late arrivals at Chania Airport
Used as an overnight stop-over after arriving at Chania airport at around 1am. It worked very well - short taxi journey and ease of reception. Good breakfast and friendly staff.

Best stay
Very nice people. We were greeted with a big smile and very helpful front desk Anastassi. Room was very spacious with a terrace overlooking the mountains of Crete. Place was really safe and quiet at night. Wished we were there for longer. The location is 4 mins away from Chania airport. Very convenient if you're looking for a place close to the airport. The room had free Greek breakfast included which I enjoyed. Barista made me the best cappuccino.

A really cute little hotel with everything you need for a short stay. A little bit remote so you'll need a car to get about but it was lovely and quiet. Breakfast was included which was nice (the ladies running breakfast spent the whole time chatting away so it was like being at the WI club but besides that was nice and relaxing). Hotel is a little bit dated but very clean and tidy. Definitely recommended.

Good overnight- free airport shuttle. Breakfast is okay. Comfortable clean room. Pool area is just okay. There are a lot of insects and weeds around the pool. Airplanes flying over are extremely loud so I would t want to stay there to Lounge around the pool- more for an overnight. I give the staff 5 stars for customer service!

It was clean, clean, clean. The check in was quick and meet with a huge happy face and smile. The clincher was the over the top 'purple room'! You had to appreciate the personality on display. Great pool, relaxing and very close to the Chania Airport.

lovely hotel
Hotel was great, however i asked at reception roughly how much was it going to cost me to get to the airport by taxi and was told maximum 15e, however the following morning i was charged 17e and as the driver did not have any change i gave him 20e for what really chould have been a trip costing maybe 8e maximum. The hotel needs to consider its choice of taxi company as the current provider could damage its business.

The staff were great here. The only thing that prevents a great rating in condition and comfort areas is that one of the toilet seats in one of the bathrooms was broken and didn't even look like it fit that toilet. This is very close to the airport. We had an early flight and they supplied us with breakfast before the normal breakfast hours!

Very friendly welcome at this hotel just 5 minutes drive from Chania airport. Very useful if like us you arrive late at night. The hotel is clean and the food and drink good. There is even a pool if you want to stay there a little longer. We only stayed one night but would definitely use it again.

Staff was friendly and check-in/out was easy. But, it was close to nothing, so unless you have a vehicle, you’re stranded in the pretty run-down/small town. We also had an early flight, so our “free airport shuttle” was none existent and we ended up paying for a taxi, both arriving and leaving. All of this in mind, it just wasn’t worth the price we payed.

Maria and the crew were amazing. They helped us with everything we needed. Breakfast was fantastic. The rooms was unique and spacious for 3 and a baby. Very convenient to Chania and the airport. If you’re on the Chania side of Crete I definitely recommend.

Clean and comfortable place to stay near airport
I chose Areti Suites because it was close to the airport in Chania. The staff was really kind. They even opened their breakfast early so we could eat before we headed to the airport. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Our only negative was a broken shower nozzle so that we had to hold the spout for the shower while using it. Also, there is no elevator, so that's important to know. But everything else was nice and I'd definitely stay here again.

This property is not on the waterfront but it has, pool, wonderful view and most important of all, fantastic personnel, ready to help you and make your stay wonderful. And, of course, rooms are big, comfortable, new and we'll darkened, if you want to sleep longer.
