I was told on my booking day room has self contained and kitchen facility staff did not explain or mention was a backpackers motel room was very hot fan was broken couldn’t change mode not safe to use it was hazard we couldn’t sleep to noisey I can send picture off the fan not safe to use I think I should get my money back

Hi there,Thanks so much for your feedback. I'm so sorry our facility wasn't as you expected.None of our rooms here are self-contained, and none of our staff members would have told you otherwise, I'm not sure who you spoke with but we like to make sure guests know that we are a backpackers hostel.There are photos etc on the site you used to book in that would have shown what the room looks like and what kind of facilities we have. This hostel has a fantastic atmosphere and friendliness of staff.it is very convenient to both Kirra and Tugun beaches and shopping centres and only a 10 minutes walk to Coolangatta airport. Would recommend to anyone who wants a friendly relaxing holiday

Close to the airport and beach, quick check in, all the facilities of a good back packers Stayed in an 8 bed dorm. Mattress was a little thin but still managed a good night sleep.

Stayed here one night to get to the airport for an early flight, stayed in a woman only six berth dorm, it's a pretty basic place to stay but has what you need. Ample amount of street parking, quite big kitchen as well as indoor and outdoor seating and a quite small pool. The staff were very nice and the room was good for the night. Bathrooms were quite old and no real place to keep your stuff from getting wet, and the only power points are in your locker in the room, a little annoying when you want to charge something but also use it whilst in bed (first world problem) Would stay here again if I was flying out of Coolangatta as you can just walk to the airport which took me less than 15 minutes.

The property requires a full update. Not sure how old the pillows and mattresses are. I don't think they have been replaced in a long time.

Stayed 2 nights, clean sheets, nice bathrooms, bed was uncomfortable - mattresses were really thin foam, WiFi wasn’t great, free bus was a bonus, although not the best YHA I’ve stayed in but still pretty good.

Only one night, but a pleasant one. There was a pizza night and I got a good timing and event got a ride to grab something in a supermarket at the same time !

Small private room good fo just a night. We got locked out as the key wouldnt open, adn even it was late at night, we had a hard time finding someone at reception who could help us.

Hi. I'm sorry you were locked out. All our room keys open the front door & if there is a problem there is a night manager bell on the front door to alert the night manager. Did you press the night manager bell?

We stayed 2 days the hotel. Room was changed next day. Next day room was smaller then first day but price was same.
