"The outlets didn’t work, the room was poorly located and the property is very outdated. Staff are kind. The value for the price is very, very poor."

"The stay was very nice. This location is right next to Times Square so it is accessible to many sights, dining and the subway. The room was rather small for 4 adults and the two beds took up most of the room We did not eat breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on that. Staff was helpful."

"We booked this hotel as we were celebrating our 45th Wedding Anniversary in The City! I fell in love with this unique different hotel! Loved how comfortable the beds were and how it was alongside the window so we could see the City Streets. The rooftop was decorated beautifully with plenty of lounging areas. Love the new concept of efficiency hotel, unique ways in saving space. Just wish the had coffee pots in the room. Otherwise , highly recommend!"

"Room was fine, small but not a shoebox; bathroom door was unable to be fully locked but since I was travelling with a close friend, we did not have an issue with it. Desk in room had outlets to charge phones/ computers, but we had a hard time using it. After adjusting the cables it did eventually work, but it took a while to fully charge. Quiet area, super close to central park which was so nice! Elevator is old and sort of slow."

"There were several problems with my room (unfunctioning lamps, no glass/cup in the bathroom, inadequate outlets for charging, but especially VERY lumpy pillows). But the staff was very responsive to fixing (most of) them. These problems shouldn't have existed, but because of the excellent staff, I'm reluctant to rate the hotel lower. I'm sure my experience was unusual, and under better circumstances, I would stay there again."

"The hotel located in strategic area, near to lincoln center, central park of bethesda terrace and many food option. However hotel facility is not well maintained, my room toilet flush was not working, the bed when lay down it created acurved. If will be great if hotel mamagement rejuvated their facilities"

"The receptionist (a lady) was a bit rude; I understand I was trying to check in early, but there is no need to show a bad attitude toward people who want to spend money at the hotel. Special recognition goes to the cafeteria staff they are amazing and very helpful! Perhaps they should consider working at the front desk! My room had a lovely view but needs a renovation; it looks very worn."

"This was an excellent stay! Anytime I’m going to New York, I will be staying here. The place is so clean, very secure (three locks on the door). The staff was consistently helpful. And the $10 coupon that they gave you for breakfast is quite substantive because the café has delicious food that will fit the budget. I had quiches that were $10, or sandwiches that were $10. Haven’t seen that kind of price in the upper west side in New York. I really enjoyed my stay."
