During my check in time, there was 2 Indian staff (male & female) at the counter. They had a good customer skills, superb staff, very helpful. However, the surrounding was so noisy until wee hours in the morning.

Room key card faulty
I was happy with everything except the room key card. Every time I wanted to enter my room, I had to tap my key card to the door sensor at least 8-10 times before the door unlocked. When the door failed to open on the 10th tap, which happened a few times during my stay, I gave up and approached the reception for help. The reception staff would reconfigure my card, issue another card (neither of which worked), or send the hotel engineering staff to assist. Even the engineering staff did not always get it open on the first tap. I hope you get the system sorted soon, because it was really annoying and frustrating to have to go up and down every day to get the recep to do something.

Hotel NEO is safe, quiet, clean. Room was comfortable. Elevator was so quick. From 1 to 19 in few seconds. Parking was ample. 9.5/10. Only thing i wish was different is lighting around bed area. There’s only one small light and so it is not bright enough to use devices or read books. Other than that, we loved our stay at Hotel NEO and highly recommended

I checked in this hotel on the 3rd August and check out on the 4th August. Upon arrival, the reception staff is very slow while I wanted to check in. I requested another single room and he not sure what to do. Besides making mistakes and slow, he needed to check with his manager whether can he give me another room. I believe he has hearing problem and unsure what to do. In short, as a responsible hotel providing hospitality service, I suppose the management need to train the staff well before put them in front desk to service customers. With such poor service and super slow, I suggest the hotel owner and shareholders need to seriously think on how to OVERHAUL the management staff to better service hotel guests in future provide IF and ONLY IF they are serious to stay in hospitality business.

Overall was good stay. Just the shower area need to be improved, the width of the shower screen is narrow causing the kept flowing out causing the entire toilet area all wet. We rented a scooter and parked overnight at the hotel designated parking, unfortunately the stray cat scratched the bike’s seat causing us to pay for extra for damages. Hope you could look into this matter.

Rooms were a good size, with a big comfy bed. Big showers that are actually showers and not wet rooms - hard to find in Malaysia! Swimming pool on the rooftop was lovely. Slightly further than would like from the main old town but can’t complain given price and everything else.

We got 2 rooms. First day Hotel overcharged and says will take few weeks to refund back to credit card. 2nd day 1 room door handle came off and fixed. 3 rd day same door battery ran out and card doesnt work. Next day another room card doesnt work. One of the room floor always feel damp and slippery. Not sure why.
