The room was clean. The only thing that I wasn't happy about is the bed. It was too hard and the pillow was extremely soft. I was unable to sleep. But other than that, it was a good stay.

hotel it's ok for sleep room quiet small but bed still comfortable . aircon was cool you don't need to worry (sometimes it's too cool i think lol) this is not first time for me here . wifi was changed last time too slow now wifi is faster than before . around hotel got a lot thing for you to eat .

Budget lodging with minimal amenities.
Good reception staff, close to Georgetown sites by walking and close to transit hub. However, no cable tv, no face towels, or face soap; room cleaned only if card placed on door handle to request it. Small room, size of a cruise ship cabin. It was annoying that staff would knock on door in the mid afternoon to ask if there is any garbage needing to be disposed.

Excellent value hotel in good location
The hotel is great value. Room was well equipped, clean and in good condition. We booked a room with a window which was worth the extra money. Hotel location is fairly good, a bit of a walk to the historic centre of town, but there is a good bus service and malls / restaurants nearby.

Nice Budget Hotel
Overall good but the room was definitely only for 2 people. Compact & proper budget room. Not complaining but just stating the facts. :)

I only stayed for a night but for the price and location, the stay was pretty good.. everything was clean and pretty quiet at night.

Central but amenities lacking.
A reasonably new hotel. Room is compact but fine. It's clean. Bed is firm. Location near to food and shops and within walking distance to a number of tourist destinations. I booked the room for 2 persons but only one toothbrush given. I asked Housekeeping and they say only one is given and if needed extra to request from Reception. Also noted no soap provided. Again asked Housekeeping they do not seem to know what I am talking about. Asked reception, they confirmed no soap provided so you need to bring your own soap or wash with either shampoo or body wash.

Hotel with good location
Clean budget hotel. Very convenient. Plenty of street food and eateries along the main road. Walking distance to bus terminal KOMTAR where there are buses to airport and all other areas in Penang.

Perfect in Penang
Super clean. Good location. Close to downtown plus quiet. Great shower head. Tv had some English channels tlc and Axn. Excellent wifi.

Everything was good except the WiFi. The WiFi was so bad that we couldn’t book an Uber to places instead took taxis which cost a fortune. Kindly consider to having a better WiFi!

Worth for it's price
For it's cheap pricing per night, it offers just the right basic necessities for those who are not that picky. Besides that the only less comfortable experience is the room size and probably having 2 chairs instead of 1 would be good as well. Cleaniness is decent and acceptable. Bed is comfortable

Clean comfortable hotel conveniently located
Nicely maintain hotel with clean comfortable room. Great shower with strong pressure. Evening turndown service available as well. Quiet but conveniently located just off the main Macalister road with good food nearby walking distance. In fact walking distance to few shopping centers ie KOMTAR, Prangin Mall, First Avenue, Times Square, etc & also Georgetown major tourist attraction. Only gripe is the not so fast wifi.

quite and calm hotel..
ive been here for 4th time and the hotel is very simple but satisfy. All the basic needs you can get there..Also its a walking distance to go anywhere around the town. The service is very good as i get upgrade to the bigger room.Nice stay and enjoy it eventhough my stay is just for overnight.

Perfectly clean and in tip top condition. Good location. Book early to enjoy great rate. Yes, I rate it overall 4 out of 5 for unrated hotel. Observations: Cold air conditioning in the room. Basic toiletries except body lotion, cotton tabs, face tissues and comb. Small room but good enough for 2 persons.

Quiet location and central to everything
Front counter staff were welcoming and overall stay at the Heliconia was pleasant. Most facilities are within walking distance otherwise Uber will always be within 5 minutes to get you to your location

this hotel was very nice and i had 5 very good night sleeps here.It was very clean and modern,great location and a night food market at the end of the road some nights.It is in a very central location and many resturants close by, also always taxi's around I would recommend for sure.

The room is very comfortable. The location is good. But, we felt hot because the air conditioner might have some problems during that night. Limited private parking lots but they will help us to find a parking lot at nearby if the private parking lots full. Still will consider to come back to this hotel next time! :)

The place got good location. Walking distance to komtar, new lane food hawker stalls, times square and etc. It is just beside the hotel sentral georgetown which you can use to direct the car or cab for easier journey. The room is very quaint and neat. No breakfast though. They cleaned the room without replacing or cleaning the cups. No fridge provided. The reception is on the 1st floor so you need to take the lift or stairs to get to it as the ground floor is for parking. Overall, it is a good place and would consider to come back here.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Cannot expect much as it is a 2.5* hotel. But wish that the wifi should be much better as the signal was bad and the speed was slow for the room I stay.
