Hardly anything to do in this hotel. Think of it as a room only and you will be fine. Not happy to be charged extra for a short extension to the check out time when the hotel was pretty much empty...

Not the usual level of service as one would expect from Hyatt. We had two large suitcases and a large number of shopping bags but after checking in, no staff offered to help us with our luggage although there was a luggage trolley next to the check in counter.

Stayed here twice during our trip. The breakfast in the hotel is amazing. Lots of choices. It’s also just a walk away from the main train station and two stations away from the airport.

Very good service.
This is not the first time to stay at this hotel. Warm hospitality and excellent staff. 5 minutes walking distance from Hakata Station does not bother me much. Overall, I enjoyed staying and I would like to stay again.

Convenient location
This is an old hotel which will be closing its door end May 2019. Considering its age, its keep in a good shape. Rooms are a bit small, as of city hotels in Japan, but nevertheless the location is wonderful, being just 7-8 minutes walk to Hakata station. The toilet is functional with good shower pressure but somehow there’s an odour that cant be rid... this is the only complain that I have.

Conveniently located near restaurants, shopping, and Hakata station. Airport not far as well. While it is a Hyatt, it may not have what you are used at most international Hyatt hotels, but it is adequate. The room was quiet, clean, comfortable, and spacious. Staff friendly and spoke English. They have a few eating options on site too. Recommended.

Exceptional Service
This hotel is outstanding in terms of service...exceeded our expectations by far. I stayed on night of 27th, and return for 30th to 2nd. During the interim, I requested to leave one suitcase with concierge in order to travel light. Upon my return, not only are my room keys already waiting for me, the suitcase was also already delivered to my room. It was so heartwarming after my long drive back. Thanks a lot to Hyatt Regency Fukuoka.

Convenient location for shopping and eating (several minutes walk to Hakata station), spacious and clean room, and helpful staff (I had a plan to depart very early AM and they arranged a taxi on time for me) made my overnight stay very pleasant.

Great hotel
Loved this hotel, great value. We had a deluxe room and enjoyed our stay. Not in the main area of attractions but easily walkable and ease of access to train station.

The staff, rooms, location, everything was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms had everything we needed. The hotel interior and exterior is beautiful. The restaurant downstairs was convenient and the food was great. I will definitely return if the opportunity arises.

For a Hyatt I found it dissapointing. The location is convenient and staff were efficient but the property is getting old. The main reason for my poor recommendation is that the airconditioning in my room was not effective and they were unable to resolve this. I dont know if this was a problem with the particular room I had or not. The outside and lobby seemed fine. I would likely opt for another hotel for my next visit. P.S. I am generally a Hyatt fan.

It was the perfect place to end our long vacation before heading back to reality. It had more shopping malls around, so it was easy to pick up last-minute souvenirs. But it also had lots of food places around the hotel, so we didn't have to go too far to have good food.

Nice and quiet location; we had a fine stay
The hotel is located in a nice and quiet neighborhood of Fukuoka, however, it's never too remote from shops and restaurants - in fact, it's only a 10-minute walk to the Chikushi Gate of the Hakata station, where you can find department stores like Hankyu and Tokyu Hands. The room we stayed in was basic. It's sufficiently large but it does not have an in-room safe. If there's something to complain about, i believe it would be that the walls may be a little too thin, as we could sometimes hear conversations coming from the adjacent room - it didn't seem to me that they were yelling. On the whole, we had a nice and comfortable stay, and it's not one of those hotels that we will stay away from if we are to visit Fukuoka again.
