It comes across loud and clear that the station is well run with a good layout, well thought out facilities, attention to detail and cheerful, helpful, switched on staff. The landscape and geology fascinated us and we enjoyed seeing the wildlife. The tucker in the Woodshed was good but we did have to wait some time for our meal. It appeared that the team were short-staffed that evening. We are grateful for all the thought and effort that went into looking after us.

A lovely property with amazing views and lots of activities on site. It is also well located for visiting The Flinders. We did a walk to Rawnsley Bluff, which was excellent. We had a very friendly welcome and our cabin was very well appointed.

A great bush experience
Great little cabin in the wilds of the Flinders Mountains. Everything clean and well prepared. Staff were excellent with advice both before and during our stay. We took the guided walk which I would also thoroughly recommend- guide was informative and educational and also cooked a great breakfast

Was attracted to this property by the advertised “Mountain View” and photo of mountains and a lake reflection. The cabin, while modern and comfortable, is cheek by jowl in a row with others and has no view. No information in the cabin. Instructions for TV operation, maps and a restaurant menu would have been helpful. For the price, not worth it. Would I stay here again? No.

Great place to base yourself to explore the area. We did day trips and was nice to return back to our cabin to sit and relax each night. Either cooking for ourselves or dining at Woolshed Restaurant which was fantastic.

Well appointed villa in stunning location. It is worth making your way to the Flinders Ranges just to stay here. If you can, book at the Woolshed restaurant well in advance as bookings are limited.
