"Good free breakfast for all guests although we were charged extra by Expedia which was annoying. Dated decor in the rooms but clean bathroom. Our room was very cold and the heating only worked intermittently (we turned the radiator to full but it came on for about an hour one night and roasted us on the final night, two other nights had no heating at all). Parking was ok but we got the last available space on a couple of days after going out… I think you can park in the approach road for free...

"There was no internet in the entire hotel & no idea when it was going to be repaired. The rooms do not have safes. No washcloths either. Bathroom needs some deeper cleaning but nice shower."

"We had a good stay at Premier Inn Durham North overall. When we arrived, there was an issue with our booking payment. We had already paid through Expedia, but at reception we were initially told that the payment had not gone through and that we would need to pay the full amount again. The receptionist was not very friendly at first and said that this was not their problem, which felt quite stressful after a long journey.
