Staff were polite and available for needs throughout stay. Room was just okay, nothing to shout about or complain too much about. One niggle was that we booked the deluxe city view room for two adults and two kids under 5 but the room only had one super king size bed in it

My stay at Carlton Deira was the worst ever and, I did inform management about my experience. Safe not working. Cleaning the room and suppling fresh towels was non existent. When I complained I was told sorry it’s been busy. Unfortunately that is not the clients problem. When they charge 4 star rate and they provide 1 star service. Not acceptable. I will not recommend this hotel to any one

Hotel with improper maintenance
The Aircondition in the allotted rooms was not working, Inspite of reporting the Refrigerator condition , the replaced Mini Refrigerators are not working while the rooms were not vacuumed before giving to us. The windows were not cleaned and very dusty! On top of all these, we requested upfront cancellation of one of the rooms for 1 day which was approved by Hotels.com and sent me an email while the Carlton hotel reception did not refund the amount saying the Reservation team did it approval the cancellation. Strongly recommend not to book this hotel due to the condition.

Kudos to Ms Mary from reception. Will stay again!!
The hotel fixtures and aesthetics are dated, not surprising as it is one of the oldest hotel in Naif area. Need an urgent overhaul to keep up, in my . The property was very clean though, particularly the room. It was spotlessly clean including the bathroom. I want to commend the service of the staff, special mention to the Filipino lady named Mary in the reception. She was very friendly, warm and accommodating. She is always willing to assist. I was prompted to book and extend another day because of her! She gave recommendations and advices about the points of interest around the area. Kindly give my special thanks to her as she was very professional yet friendly. Very commendable service! Keep it up!
