After reading the reviews on this place, i was hesitant and even a little freaked out to even show up and check in. I even looked at last minute spots to book because i was afraid of what this place would be like. It was nothing like the reviews. This place is not close to being 5 or 4 stars but its still a decent spot for the night. Theres many different food and nightlife options to choose from right outside the front door and the train station that you get off at closest to the hotel is called Salah Al Din. The reviews are wrong saying that its Al Muteena, when it doesn't even exist, its actually the name of a street. The clubs in the Hotel are indeed loud and they do go until 4 or 5 in the morning but depending on where you are in the hotel will depend on how much sound you get. The rooms do have hot water, a switch with an orange light is what you have to turn on to heat the the tank, it will be close to the bathroom door. I can see why people say the employees aren't the friendliest people but if you show them a smile, respect and talk to them nice and clear they will be more than willing to help you out and answer questions, even say hello to you when you walk in the door. You cant expect this hotel to be like an American Hotel because its not, but the place was enjoyable and easy access to many different things throughout Dubai and thats the point of being in the UAE. Overall the room looked old and outdated from the 1990s but i was happy with a night.
