"The resort is located in a nice and quiet part of the town with a nice stretch of beach. We got a free upgrade to a very nice room. We had a great dinner at the restaurant. Very friendly staff all around providing excellent service whenever needed. The breakfast has a great selection of Khmer as well as western food. The beach is combed to remove washed up rubbish. The property is slightly dated but I highly recommend this place."

"Except language problem everything was good. None of the staff either at reception or at housekeeping speak or understand English. Only one of the receptionist Ms. Srey V. knew and spoke English well which was very helpful. Hotel is situated near Serendipity Beach Road which is only 2 mins walk away and overall stay is comfortable."

"Sok Sabay is a beautiful oasis but outside the confines is garbage and skeletons of buildings that were started then abandoned before finished. The restaurant in the resort was a real surprise with Khmer and French influences. Staff can’t do enough for you. "Nice enough hotel located in the worlds biggest building site, highlight of my stay here was just trying to get in the place my two options were wading through muddy water or climbing over mountain's of rubble and rotting garbage, nice pool friendly no open bar or restaurant though. Room was clean and comfortable could have done with a lick of paint though but the whole place will probably be demolished soon anyway to make way for another bloody Chinese casino. "I had a beautiful stay at the Palm Beach Bungalow Resort. I stayed in a beach front bungalow which was very clean and had a beautiful view. The staff were lovely, and all the meals were delicious. I went on the boat trip which cost 20 USD and included fruit and drinks. We went snorkelling, fishing and swam with glowing plankton. I definitely recommend doing this if you have time. The location was very picturesque, and the resort didn’t get too loud which was nice. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and cannot thank the staff enough for making it so memorable. "
