Grenada Hotels

What an experience.... Tamara and Winston at the front desk along with the other staff were a pleasure to meet. The people are all very firendly and helpful. I had a mango tree outside my first floor window. Drinks were really good and strong. Beach was just steps away from my bedroom. Grenada Grand has the BEST location. you can walk out your door and walk to the grocery store and Wall Street (partyyyy). I checked out some of the other hotels, but most were on hilly roads. Good places to eat Deyna's and Anndales excellent local food, good price and the market place in Town. you must go Traffic Light (local restaurant) St. George ,good food, SOCA music. I love Grenada,

This is what the sign should read as you enter candle glow apartments. It's a great value place to stay. Not far from airport, beach, supermarket and food. The people working here have to be the friendliest people on the island. Rita gave us a great welcome despite us being delayed by our flight and Trevor the security man made sure we were well catered for when she wasn't around. Rooms are simple - we got the cheapest one so no kitchenette or lounge but there is a separate kitchen for the culinary gifted - other than that hot water and AC in a vaulted ceiling room. It's a little out of town but makes for a generally quiet stay. This, with the service equals great value.
