"Decent hotel, good bed, clean, decent breakfast. There was a serious incident outside the hotel in the night and we woke up to find police and forensics teams outside. Not the hotels fault but still not really what you want from a stay!"

Very communal..everyone made us feel very welcome. Only negative was that there wasn't alot of dining options in Dawlish itself on an evening but this didnt matter as the trains to Dawlish Warren and Teignmouth were very regular even on a Sunday

Dawlish seems to be dying on it's feet - very limited dining if you want something nice - we ended up going to Torquay to find a choice of decent dining
