The property did not set up the shuttle to the airport to arrive on time so we ended up missing our international flight.

Location is near the airport. Staff is great but facilities need update. We had no electricity for half the time we were there. There is a lot of construction around the area.

By far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The toilet smelled like sewer , the shower was filled with mold and everything is broken and dirty. Luckily I only spent a couple hours while waiting on my flight. Toilet had no seat bed sheets are no longer white but discolored yellowish brown. Outside is also a complete dump. This hotel needs a lot of work .

Greetings, We've received your comments, we'll hard working on it to meet the client satisfaction in team of peed and assurances at the reception. Phone charger, this is you mean there was not socket in the wall or you are advising to have phone chargers in the rooms?. Kindly make it clear in order to solve the ongoing problem.

No online data retrieval facility
When I approached the Reception, first they said there is no such kind of registration / booking on this date in my name. Then I contacted my company who booked originally and retrieved online booking infos then submitted after that they allocated a room for me, I was stood IN front of the reception around 30 minutes because of their (the hotel reception) unawareness of online booking data.

Actually, we had a hug email server problem, luck enough our IT team manage to rectify the issue. The same will not happened it again in future. We please request to accept our apologue .

Close to the airport and clean. Good sized beds and bathrooms. Fairly quiet, still get roosters crowing in the morning and sometimes a train in the distance. There's a restaurant attached to the hotel that is convenient. This hotel is nothing fancy but location is prime.

This hotel is simple but comfortable enough to rest for you to catch your early flight. The staff is friendly and the restaurant next door is great too.

When i arrived at FQ Hotel there was not internet, therefore inwas unable to pull up the registration confirmation email for the hotel from my email and they werent able either. This lead to me talking abck and forth with the staff there for almost an hour after traveling for 24hrs. This part i was nkt happy about because i was tired. At the end I ended having to use my own hotspot enable to log in and obtain the email confirmation; which showed that i paid for the hotel months ago and thats when i was allowes to go to my room.

We apparently regret for whats happened as being informed by our internet service provider that they have fault on their root, on top of that,it was weekend. This problem has been solved early on Monday morning. We please apologies for the same wont happened it again in future.

Good hotel 5 minutes from the airport
Hotel conveniently close to the Dar es Salaam airport. Quite new, clean, most of the staff is very friendly. Restaurant basic, but ok. Bar good. Room spacious, clean. Hot water in the shower :-) Only down side was that the manager, I presume, who was not very willing to accept that the room was paid through Hotels.com. Advice: Do the booking, but pay in the hotel upon arrival.

The hotel was pleasing in general. Especially its location very near the airport which was quite convenient for an early flight out of Dar es Salam. The restaurant had some shortcomings. The staff had difficulties understanding us and taking our orders. The kitchen was overwhelmed with only three tables to serve. Dinner ended up a fiasco, too late, wrong salad, etc and too late for reordering. Perhaps it was only the night we were there, but between two days of a travel, a nice restful dinner would have been much appreciated. Breakfast was nice, local and copious except for coffee which was not ready and had to be improvised with instant coffee and no milk at all. Other than that, the hotel was clean, safe and very conveniently located for in between flights.

Be aware there is not a free shuttle as advertised, though they will send a driver the very few blocks (which cannot be walked w luggage) to pick you up. The AC worked well and had a little hot water in the bathroom. Included "continental" breakfast w/boiled eggs, fried bananas. Electricity was fairly steady. Very loud outside noise, but low mosquito level. Staff was extremely friendly and quite helpful. I'd recommend if you are low maintenance or transiting traveler.

An der Rezeption wurden ich und andere Gäste mindestens eine Viertelstunde lang ignoriert - obwohl wir uns zwischendurch versuchten, bemerkbar zu machen. Der Boy brachte uns dann in die falsche Etage und wir mussten alles erst hin, dann zurück tragen. Das Bad war in traurigem Zustand; die Betten auch. Das Frühstück war nicht lecker.

Terrible Neighborhood.
The FQ Hotel is OK for a 3star hotel. However the location is the worst possible. Even though is close to the airport to get to the hotel you have to go thru a terrible neighborhood. The Tanzanian people are very nice and pacelful and there's no risk. However if you have problems with dust - You should avoid staying there. Hotels.com does not advise that the location is the worst possible.

Nice, new hotel close to the airport
A nice, new, clean hotel close to the Dar es Salaam Airport. Good value for money. Surroundings are as many neighbourhoods in African countries. Should be safe in the daytime. Take a car to the airport, though it is only less than a 5 minutes ride

FQ Hotel's best attribute is its proximity to the airport. If you're so inclined, you could walk between the two. However, if you arrange ahead of time, they have a driver who is very friendly and can meet you at the airport to drive you safely to FQ. He was there right outside the customs area waiting for my companion and me when we arrived. The room itself was nice enough - clean, spacious, climate controlled, and adequate internet access. Breakfast is included in the room rate and is fair - enough to get you through to lunch certainly. And even though we only spoke English, the majority of staff could understand well.

Du bor her bare hvis du trenger noen timer i en seng mellom fly og vil slippe en lang taxitur inn til sentrum. Larmende nabolag er det lite å gjøre med, høy musikk til langt på natt. Dertil klaprende aircondition på veggen rett over sengen. Ta med gode ørepropper! Jeg hadde bestilt airport pickup og fått skriftlig bekreftelse på det, men ingen bil møtte meg på flyplassen. Alt i alt en negativ opplevelse.

we used the hotel for an overnight stay. Very close and conveniently situated to the airport. The room overall was very clean and neat. My only issue though was getting to and from the hotel. The road to the hotel is in a very bad state. The hotel provided us with a shuttle service, however, they was a discrepancy in the price given and the price paid. My suggestion here, is confirm the price with the driver and not the Reception.

A hotel for airport transit
The hotel is very closedd to airport. Just 5mins by taxi. Hot water for bath is avaliable in daytime. Free Wifi is provided.
