We had the most peaceful stay, the bush land surrounding the cottages is so pretty and full of bird life. The cottage contains everything you could need and was beautifully presented. We will definitely return again ❤️
Stayed with wife and son. It was really a relaxing property.

Weekend Getaway
Our stay at the cottages was excellent in every way. All personal comforts were taken care of, with extra touches, like welcoming wine and cheese. Home made bread, local jams, all added to the experience.
Lovely and clean, very quiet and peaceful area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Jewel Cottage especially sitting on the deck in the morning eating free range eggs the owners put out for us.

Thank you so much for your lovely review Vanessa. We really love our place and put a lot of work into maintain it- in fact we just planted 300 more native plants in the week after your stay, to ensure more privacy around the cottages and provide more habitats and food for the birds. I am so glad that you enjoyed your stay and we hope to host you again in the future :)
Wonderful private and comfortable cottage nestled in the bush. Right next to the Wadandi walking and cycling track and an easy walk to Cowaramup, possibly the friendliest town in the South West, and a longer hike/easy bike ride to Margaret River. The Golden Jersey petrol station/general store in Cowaramup is a great place to hire bikes if you don’t bring one with you.
The cottage has a great cleared outdoor area for the kids to run around and kick a ball, plus there’s a nice little playground with swings and a slide. The wood fire makes for cosy evenings with a glass of red from a nearby winery or cup of tea from the quirky tea shop in Cowaramup (if you can’t be bothered building a fire the reverse cycle AC warms the place up nicely too).
We would unreservedly recommend Ellensbrook to anyone looking for a relaxed holiday down south.

The cottages were very clean and comfortable. The staff were really down to earth and friendly. The location is great. Close to Margaret River town and a lot of wineries breweries and other great tourists places. I will highly recommend it to others

Thank you for your feedback Garry.
It was lovely to meet you both and we hope you come back to visit.
We stayed in the Moondyne Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage was very luxurious, romantic and well appointed, and the location is very convenient - just 10 minutes to Margaret River Township or the closest swimming beach, and surrounded by wineries, food producers etc. Loved it.
wasn't worth the price, wasn't private could see cabin right next door from balcony, spiderwebs in the cabin, dusty, asked for room service didn't get it, had to do dishes after paying that much money, no fresh towels for each day, bed sheets was stained,
A very enjoyable stay. The cottage is fully self contained and while there are other cottages close by, it is still very private. A short ten minute drive put us in the town of Margaret River and there are many things to do and see and do within easy distance. The air conditioning was most welcome on the hot days and when it cooled down, a glass of wine on the verandah was also very relaxing.
Lovely spot - very quiet and tranquil. The cottages were very comfortable, not the most modern, but very clean, very comfortable and had everything you need for an enjoyable stay.
Our host was lovely, very helpful and accommodating.
Only suggestion would be to check the address details prior to setting your GPS...we got lost...twice!

Nice place to stay and relatively close to the things we wanted to do. Our first night, we found dead bugs on the sheets which one wouldn't expect for the price. The price was too high for the cottage overall but it was all we could get at the last minute.

Probably a nice place to stay but too expensive.
What ruined the cottage for us was that it was so very expensive and then we found little dead bugs under the pillows of the bunk beds. The kids refused to sleep in the bunk beds and we ended up squishing a family of 5 in two queen beds. We were tired, it was late and nobody had been around when we checked in so we didn't call to report it until the next morning. The lady was nice to fix it but made me feel responsible because I didn't call her to clean it up when we discovered the bugs. (We were tired and it was late...) She ended up spraying too so I am glad we didn't sleep in the room right after she sprayed. The location was pretty good for us. This was our first time in Margaret River.
Had a wonderful time at Ellensbrook Cottages. Gorgeous cottage, beautiful surrounds and huge spa bath!! It was very secluded and quiet. Well equipped kitchen and loved the little touches; fresh bread, milk, butter and jams. Only complaint is we couldn't stay longer!!
Facilities: 5 for the giant spa!; Value: Worthwhile treat; Service: Go the extra mile;
Would recommend to others, would stay again. Close to wineries, chocolate factory etc and good distance to both Cowaramup & Margaret River
Facilities: Home away from home; Value: Affordable; Service: Professional; Cleanliness: Immaculate;
It was great being so close to so many great wineries.
