We liked the location of Hotel Primo to the Gare and the Christmas markets. The staff was hospitable and warm. The beds and linens were clean. The breakfast was okay. The downside was the toilet, it was dirty and smelly and definitely needed a good scrubbing, streaks and marks were quite visible which was a total turnoff.
Bad experience. No cold water at all in shower and hot water was boiling hot. Couldn’t take a shower. Beds were flimsy and mattress literally fell down on the side to the floor when I approached the edge to get up. I fell twice. Unbelievable!!! I’ve stayed in small hotel rooms and this one beat them all. BTW staff didn’t seem to be surprised or care when I told them about all this. 😰
The worst hotel I have ever been. Window was broken and the bed was so small and so uncomfortable. We stayed with our 8 mo baby and we asked a room change bc of broken and typed window however we were told the hotel is fully booked until we asked a refund. Then they remembered another room. The price was the cheapest during Christmas time but still not worthy
Perfectly located, air conditioned, TV with international channels, clean, bathroom condition( 7 of 10, small, shower oldish, sink inside the room)
Breakfast was so so, but it was also 6,90 eur
Price Performance is extremely satisfactory.
The staff was very nice and helpful! Really great service! The room was on the street abd very noisy. The was the only downside.
The location is also great

Window had to stay open, as AC was shut down due to Covid-19. It was noisy. The bathroom was less than clean.
Bedding was nice and clean.
Very close walk to centre of Colmar, Room clean and tidy but very small, could hardly walk round the bed, smallest place ever stayed, free backing in car park across road at night but pay during the day.
Not bad for that price. Beds were good and window could be opened. Nice shower. Restaurants are within a few minutes walking distance and our room faced back and was quiet.
The hotel is currently being renovated and there were workmen there.
The breakfast was poor and the yogurt had run out one day. Another day the cheese was not replaced until almost too late. The brown bread had run out and was replaced after breakfast was finished. The rooms were tiny although very good value for money. It was mostly service 'without a smile' which was not very welcoming. I am sure it will improve though and the location was fantastic.

The door was difficult to open and close. The cleaner just opening the door without knocking and when I ask to come back to clean never came back. The entire stay room was'nt clean due to misunderstanding as staff does'nt understand english.
Good local. Bla& the opportunity to work for your restaurant.I think your resteraunt has a great ambience and excellent food.I am a hard worker and would love the opportunity to work for your restaurant.I think
Located very close to the city center which is very convenient and comfortable. But the hotel has very basic services and the room was very small. There wasn't even space for the 2 cabin bags we had. And there wasn't any towell for the face.

Good sleep but no services
The hotel location is great and the beds were very comfortable. But the sink was blocked our whole stay, even if we asked to fix it. Also the smell in the bathroom was horrible.
Great reception service. The two gentlemen we dealt with (Alexandra was one of them) were so helpful with directions and suggestions of places to visit. We asked so many questions and they answered all with a smile. The area is about 5 minutes walk to the old Town and about 20 minutes walk to little Venice. The bus station is around the corner from the hotel. It's really convenient and I was able to visit Freiburg during a day trip and one of the quaint villages (Kaysersberg) on another day trip. Reception will gladly print out the bus schedules for you. We didn't have a kettle in the room but the hotel reception was happy to boil us water in a kettle whenever we needed it. There is a subway food outlet and a burger outlet right next to the hotel as well as an Italian restaurant opposite the hotel. The room size is perfect for one person but two people can manage fairly well. Towels are changed on a daily basis. It is not possible to walk with your luggage from the train station as it's about a good 20 to 30 minutes walk. However, if you arrive early enough, the bus takes about 5 minutes. It costs around 7 to 8 euros with Uber, however, you may need to wait a good fifteen minutes for Uber otherwise taxis are available. One can walk comfortably to the train station without luggage. The only concern we had was with hot water not being available in the evenings. The water was luke warm. Other than that, it's a decent stay that is clean and affordable with a warm reception.
Close to everything, but across the street from amusement park. Stops at 11, but noise till midnight. Windows had to be open, as there was no air or fans.
The employees at the front desk were super helpful and the breakfast was amazing. We had a wonderful stay. The gentleman at the front counter gave us a great recommendation for a dinner place close by. The hotel is very centrally located and lots to see in walking distance of the hotel.

Close to old town is a plus for this hotel. Easy access by wwlking from the hotel to most of the attractions.
