"This is an absolutely fantastic hotel which is owned and run by a really lovely family. Everything is spotless from the public areas to our room. It is about a forty minute walk to the centre of Chania which was fine for us as we enjoy walking but there is a service bus a couple of minutes away. "

"We stayed at Portou House for 5 nights and had an excellent time. Very good location in Chania Old Town. Communication was great from start to finish with Julia being very responsive. We were pleasantly surprised with a bottle of wine for my Partner’s birthday which was a nice touch. The only feedback we would have is that there was no full length mirror - think it would be good to consider including in the rooms. Many thanks Julia and team at Portou House. "

"We had a wonderful week at Elizabeth Suites, Epas is a welcoming and helpful host who can never do enough to make sure your stay is a good one. The suite was spotlessly clean, the pool warm and plenty big enough to cool off in. The suites are located within easy walk of the beach, bus stops in the main town Chania and several local and big chain supermarkets. "I could not have asked for a better stay at Villa Alexander. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, the villa was incredible, so well maintained and big and clean, the pool was perfect, and the area was peaceful and felt very safe. "The hotel is very clean, the area is nice, you have a bus station to Chania 3 mins away from the hotel. Did not try the nearby restaurants but you have a couple of options from what I’ve seen.
