"We had a pretty good stay at the Toyoko Inn Saga. The Japanese style breakfast was great for one of us. The tub was nice but there were hairs left in the bathroom and a few pieces of plastic left on the floor of our cleaned room. Note that check in is at 4! Pretty late and the latest of anywhere we stayed in Japan. You are not allowed in a minute before 4. They have self check in and checkout machines that seem redundant. "The hotel is right behind the Fukuoka Hakata train station, which is very convenient and walkable to shopping and restaurant. The room was spacious and clean.The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again. The only drawback is that you can hear a little bit of the street sounds at night and must keep the curtains closed to keep out the lights from the neon signs."
