When I first checked in,they gave me a room with no window. I appealled to the counter that they should hv stated if the room I booked hv no window. They wanted me to complaint to Expedia or else I hv to upgrade to a room with window and need to pay some extra money. Anyhow, finally they change me a room with window and no extra charges.
The room was great. The location is good,close to restaurants. The shower head was loose and the staff 3 times and it wad never fixed. That's the only set back.
on that day I check in , that is a electricity supply issue cause by TNB, but we found all emergency exit is locked, and in the room don't have emergency light,
at the morning staff is talking loud outside room, we can't sleep well
the room not phone coverage, and the internet wifi service very bad...

Good customer service
System down for check in , but front desk officer bring me to room first while waiting for room card. Surprisingly committed for 30 minute , all done within 10 minute delivers to room.
Good stay but need improvement on customer service
Room was good and clean, and there's restaurants nearby, just walking distance.
If you're a night owl, this is the place, there are a lot bars nearby.
Staffs from Afternoon shift were not so friendly, as we have encountered some issues on our booking.
And we need to resolve the problem by ourselves, rather than getting assistance from them.
Other than that, it was fine.
Clean and comfortable.
Room was a bit small but overall okay

It was OK!
We stayed a night at this hotel as we were attending a dinner and drinks get together with some family and friends which was nearby the hotel.
Checking in was ok....the front desk staff is a wee bit slow but not too bad. The room was small but clean. The basic necessities were available. The air conditioner worked very well which was an 'A' in our books. Had a good night sleep after the merrymaking.
Checking out was not too shabby either.
There's convenience stores opposite the hotel. A pretty good Chinese restaurant within the hotel premises. Some drinking establishments very nearby as well.
All in all it was pleasant and if we had to do it again we will.
We booked 2 family rooms, the front desk staffs spent almost 30mins just to check the rooms. At the end, they told us only 1 family room available, the other room released to agoda. By right they should upgrade or compensate us with better room, but they only offered us a smaller room(standard) without apologizing. Overall, we have terrible experience with the hotel, especially the front desk staffs. Definitely will not come back to this hotel.
A nice hotel to stay. Provide a good service. Value for money.

Bad experience with check in
I have booked two room in this hotel for a wedding dinner in the restaurant next to it.
Upon check in, the staff told me that the price that I paid to Expedia was lower compare to their current rate. They requested me to TOP up the difference but I insisted that I have paid in full while booking. I asked to spoke with their higher manager, a lady in their HQ told us the rate that we booked was not updated. After some argument, they finally allowed to check in without paying the difference. This is the first time in my whole life that I encountered this kind of issue. I suggest the management should look into this matter and improve.
Higher than the expectation, will stay at this hotel again. Good location if you have your own transport. The staff are friendly, room is big and clean. Suitable for family to stay.
Stayed at the hotel from 21-25th Dec 2015. It was a family trip for visiting relatives. It is a new hotel, opened about 1 year ago. Room was very clean and spacious. The wifi provided was stable and didn't give us any problems. The area is in metarjam, a much quieter place compared to George Town or Batu Ferringhi. So in terms of places for sightseeing or cabs, there is much less to do and it is also much much harder to hail a cab. My advice is to rent a car if you are visiting this part of Penang.
That said, the food here is still the main draw and at much cheaper prices compared to the touristy locations such as George Town.
