The afternoon shift desk clerk who checked me in was very unfriendly. She pretended to not know a word of English when she was dealing with me but yet I heard her speaking some English later. She put me in a room on the top floor and it seems that's where the motors for the elevator were and it was too noisy to sleep, guests were using the elevator till about 2 am and then started again at 6 am. Both morning clerks were very friendly and treated me with respect, if it were not for the morning staff I would have checked out after the first night. Good value but not sure the afternoon clerk should be in the hospitality business (but maybe she had a tough week)

location is good, but rooms are dirty, walls are so thin you can hear people in other rooms talk and watch tv, and wifi is absolutely terrible

I would chose something else if it was available
This hotel is very overpriced. It's best years have been a long time ago, however some people might like this "style". My room wasn't ready on time. After waiting 30 min for it I went to eat something. When I came back I still had to wait. While the receptionist was on my case some new guests came in and she left me to deal with them. Check-in process took around 1,5h Internet in the rooms practically doesn't exist.The network is visible on every floor but either it doesn't connect or the connection is not good enough to even send a message via some messengers. Only place to have decent connection is only reception desk area. The only benefit of the place is the location.

Pros: beautiful art deco era building with what looks like original furniture and fixtures in good location. Nice staff. Cons: uncomfortable mattresses, no in-room boiling water pot, no in-room coffee, no window screens, no shampoo/conditioner/soap/lotion dispensers. Common area (former bar) has useless coffee machine and nonsensical wall decor; would be better converted to a for-purchase snack bar with old pictures of Buenos Aries on walls and no stupid tiny plastic-cup coffee machine.

No cold water in the morning so impossible to take a shower. On my way out at 7.15 AM i told the manager the problem, he assured me he ll contact expedia for a refund but it was a lie. Telling me also that i should have contact him before and he would have my room changed, at 6h30 in the morning when you have to catch a cab for an airport, changing room to take a shower is not ideal so don t believe them

Incorrect address, comfortable stay
The hotel is not in the indicated address on hotels.com. It is formerly known as the Promenade hotel, which is still on the front of the establishment. The correct address is 443 Manuel Taurcoto I believe. Other than that issue it was a good stay. The staff stated they have only been opened for 2 weeks so if you are a guest be patient with them.

Buen hotel y buena experiencia su estancia en el, lo malo fue que no había servicio de desayuno y no encontré enchufes adecuados para cargar el celular en la habitación. Por lo demás la cama era muy cómoda, habia aire acondicionado y televisión, buen baño y bien equipado este, buena ubicación y buen trato... Si hay algo para destacar en lo personal es el lobbie, su estética y sus detalles decorativos lo hacen de lo más pintoresco, en caso de reformas o restauraciones deberían mantener esa esencia. No descarto volver al lugar la próxima vez.

Nunca mais voltarei nesse hotel. Quarto sujo, cabelos de outros hóspedes na roupa de cama e banho e no chão. Roupa de cama com manchas de mofo e sujeira. Banheiro sujo. Box do banheiro minúsculo. Os dois elevadores deixaram de funcionar ao mesmo tempo (estava hospedado no sétimo andar, com uma gestante). Pontos positivos: funcionários muito atenciosos ,máquina de água e café disponíveis e hotel com boa localização.

Excelente localização e atendimento. O problema é só o tamanho do box de banho muito pequeno. Possui uma maquina de café com café, capuccino, chá e chocolate, livre 24h. Recomendo pelo custo beneficio. proximo a um apequena mercearia que fica aberta 24h.

Foi uma estadia muito boa!! O Hotel é bem localizado e o quarto muito bom!! O único ponto que me desapontou foi o fato de eu deixar 100 reais em cima da cama e ter sumido, ao questionar informaram que objetos de valor eu devo deixar no cofre, ao meu ver não faz sentido pois corro o risco de qualquer outro objeto ser furtado pois não colocarei tudo dentro do cofre!
