This was easily one of the best values for a hotel that I have ever stayed at. The room with the outdoor terrace was amazing and the room was very spacious. I would highly recommend a stay here if you come to Budapest. The included breakfast was amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpfull! Five star rating for me!

Very clean hotel in the perfect location. Loved the coffee machine and the courtyard for the sunny mornings. Room was a tad small but the amenities and lovely modern bathroom Netflix made up for it! Would definitely stay here again!

This hotel is fabulous, not only is it in a great location very central only a 2 minute walk from fashion street and 10 minute walk down to the Danube river it was down a lovely quiet street and we felt very safe , it’s very stylish and clean , the staff were on the desk 24/7, the rooms were spacious and the surrounding area of the hotel was perfect there was a Lidl grocery story across the street and also a Starbucks practically attached to the building. Would definitely recommend this hotel in Budapest. Great for couples / friends/ solo travellers even.

Great place to stay!
Friendly, approachable staff. Great part of town. Clean and safe. I travel a lot for work, all over the world, and I would recommend Emerald Hotel to anyone looking for a nice place to lie your head down at night. Not the best place if you plan to spend a lot of time in your room, but perfect for my needs.

Great hotel and great location
Love this hotel! This is our second stay in the same hotel in Budapest… The only downside is that we pre-ordered a taxi from the reception to pick up to the airport at 3am, once we were down, and after waiting then asking her, she said that it was cancelled, which could have been communicated earlier, we were all trying to find ones at 3in the morning, eventually she was able to.

Unfortunately the only thing that can provide this hotel - it’s location. Terrible not friendly (not only to me) girls on the front desk.extremely slow service.I was waiting 25min!to check my booking. Horrible smell in room….so bad.room is so small and not comfortable.your neighbors and people in the office(next building )can see you walking around.you should keep curtains close all day.very small room.VERY.

Brilliant hotel, very central but quiet. Rooms were spacious and very clean and well appointed with complimentary water. The breakfast had lots of choice and was excellent quality and you could sit inside or outside. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Emerald Hotel is in an excellent location for sightseeing either on foot or easy access to transport. The hotel decor is attractive and elegant and everything is maintained to a high standard. The staff on Reception and in the restaurant are polite, friendly and extremely helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is right at the center, convenient to subway/the bridge/and everything. The room is ok. However, Hotel.com did not tell me I needed to pay city tax and I thought I had prepaid everything.

The room and staff were great! The shower in particular was amazing. The hotel is really well located and we’re glad we chose it - would definitely stay again. We had some issues with inconsiderate guests throughout our stay who would knock on ours and each others doors, and bang walls all hours of the night. They were in the two rooms next to ours unfortunately which meant we didn’t get much sleep during our stay. On our last night we had enough as they were shouting and playing music at 4am but after a call down to reception they came up to tell them to stop. This was the only thing that impacted our stay.
