"Loved the walks from the hotel , we took our grandsons and they really enjoyed running around the woods and seeing the animals grazing nearby. Our room was amazing , a family room with a separate double room , lounge area and a small annex with twin beds . Very friendly staff who made our stay very comfortable and the food was wonderful, a brilliant couple of days . "

"The hotel was in an amazing position, in a very quiet part of the forest, and very good for wild life spotting. Room was very comfortable, clean and right on the edge of the forest. Food and drinks, to a high standard, served by friendly but professional staff both in the Armada and Conservatory restaurants. Very nice outdoor heated swimming pool with sun loungers available. Stayed for 4 nights. Would definitely stay again."

"It was great. Particularly good having three restaurants. But I can be very picky. All about the breakfast. The coffee wasn't great. The bacon was underdone - it doesn't need to be really crispy but it does need a bit of brown to develop the flavour. The marmalade wasn't that good either. One other thing, which I suspect may be common to all hotels these days. They wouldn't give me a paracetomol when I really needed one. Probably something to do with health and safety. But really?"
