The room was quite spacious ,clean and a comfortable bed. The area is close to shops and takeaway options as well as the hotel , which was surprisingly very quite. All in all, my go too for accommodation in the caboolture region

The air conditioning unit filters were filthy and the air con was useless. As they were short staffed - note in reception- we didn’t like to bother them. Also we had a barking dog in the unit next door the first night which had obviously been let alone. We had a 3 night stay but no room service given. We thought we were charged too much for what we got.

Our Three week stay confirmed how good a choice it was to stay at the Sundowner. The central location to travel assets of Caboolture such as the M1 and nearby Train station gave us several options to explore around the Area. Parking our rental was never a problem and a couple or other food options , Kebabs and Subway were open quite late supplementing dining options although the Sundowner food was pretty good ... As a couple of seniors on holiday we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There were some other guests making their presence known but generally weren't a problem . Would we stay there again? Sure if that opportunity comes again ...

The motel was very clean and comfortable but long term guests were noisy during the night. Not bad for a 1 night stay as we drove through the area.

The bed was comfortable, except for the cockroach crawling on it the first night. Blinds are a bit dated. It was useful to have a microwave but the shower door was hard to open. The cockroach in the shower the 2nd night wasn’t nice but it was close to the nursing home to visit my Dad & Maccas was next door for coffee.

The staff the manager the premises is lovely. The only issue we found was that the premises at the back of the hotel they empty large waste bins early hours of the morning and the industrial roads near seemed to be a drag strip/noisy. This however has no reflection on our stay just bit noisy at time. Thanks to all.

Our stay at sundowner was fantastic, we cant afford to get away a lot so the cheap price was fantastic. We needed to stay an extra night on short notice at xmas time and they nanaged to squeeze us in with a room change. The rooms are lovely and clean and have everything you need to make your stay comfortable.

We just needed a place to stay the night after a day at Bribie Island and the Sundowner was perfect. Great location, excellent price and very convenient with a restaurant attached. The free basic breakfast supplies was a nice touch too. Thank you. We plan on staying again soon.

A Nice Hotel Motel with very helpful & friendly staff..Hotel has a nice Restaurant and there is also a Subways & McDonalds in the Complex...The free Breakfast cereal & ice cold water was also a added surprise in the room

we did like outside court yard areas but meant we had no privacy. the rooms were extremely hot air con didnt keep room cool. the bathroom was dirty the shower had old grout that was moldy and the shower drainage smelt like a toilet as soon as the shower ran. shower water was not very hot and the bathroom door did not lock properly. The rooms are very noisy when you have people above you and if someone leaves early you get woken by them slamming the door as you have to leave the key locked in the room which we were not told and reception was not open at 8 am when several of us were trying to leave but could not find where to return the key

The Room was rundown, with the blinds falling apart, the bathroom door had no slide guide on the bottom, the toilet was old and worn with use and the shower door would not close. Overall very ordinary.

The room had a sickly stale smoke type smell. Felt pretty crook from it, had to keep the back door and window open. The bed, linen and shower were nice. Overall, I wouldn’t go back to stay there.

Was kept awake till 3am by tradies drinking and being very loud next to my room. Friday night so i guess they were relaxing. Rang staff, but it took 3 attemps to quiet them down. Room was ok otherwise. Showing a bit of age. Would probably choose somewhere else in future.
