Hong Kong Hotel- excellent
For a budget hotel, the place is very clean and nice. Owner is friendly. Even give advise where to go. But if you are going with family and especially with those who have trouble climbing up stairs, please do inform the hotel and get the rooms at the lower ground. Highly recommended

Location location location
Single superior room was large and spacious and luckily on the second floor so walk up was not too bad. Day staff speaks some English. Easy access to food and shopping. Staff can help with booking tours etc.

The cockroaches were running around in the room. The balcony door handle was broken so we could not really shut it properly. The noise from the food outlets downstairs were super noisy.

Decent value for money. You get what you pay for.
Hong Kong hotel is located in the center with access to dining and shopping and a short taxi ride to Cameron Higjlands's main bus station; Tanah Rata. The hotel is a walk up only and walls are very thin so if you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. The deluxe room was spacious and comfortable. The shower is in the toilet and everything is likely to get wet. The trick to getting hot water in the shower is to turn the tap on only slightly to allow a "small, small" amount of water to cascade from the pipe. The day time staff speaks some English and is very accommodating. The evening staff not so much. Overall it's decent value for money.

Very unfriendly stuff. They don't even great you. The room I had was next to reception so I could hear all the noises. The door had a split on the bottom. There is a lamp just outside of the window wich keep the room bright all night. I had many ants and 2 coackroaches in the room wich is ok for countries like this but all in one for this price just a bad experience

Good choice for trip to Cameron highlands
The room and toilet are very clean.The bed and blanket is so clean and comfort. Very recommended. Not suitable if you bring the elderly because no lift Even i staying at 1st floor cannot heard noise at all except if u choice room with balcony Receptions was open until 11pm only..so make sure to be there before that I booked standard double room for 2 adults on Tuesday(not on public holiday n school holiday) with the price of RM65 only

Small Room, No Lift but nice staff
Nice hotel, very clean and friendly staff. the restaurant downstairs is good and cheap. However, there is no lift, which is not mentioned anywhere. You have one public washroom type soap dispenser in the washroom and the room is small. No cupboards only hangers are provided and the internet in the room is very very shaky. So you end up having a disconnected vacation, which was not that bad experience. But I booked a delux room, however, that turned out to be on 3rd floor and mind it that Cameroon highlands already needs you to walk a lot!! so climbing those big stairs is not a very pleasing experience after a tiring day! and yes no phone in the room so you have to go to the reception for everything and forget the TV, it had no sound. I felt is was expensive for the facilities provided.

Small Room/No Lift
The room is small without any table. therefore we have to sit on the floor for our meals. Be prepared to climb the staircase as there are no lift in the hotel. not suitable for elderly. Out heater spoilt in out second stay as it was late, we are not able to ask the hotel staff for assistance.
