At simple but lovely hotel, there's nothing would change other than add a swimming pool! The whole atmosphere is one of calm, with live gamelan music as you arrive and during dinner. Rooms are small but fine, although you can hear a sounds from the joining room. Every room has a beautiful little terrace overlooking the wonderful gardens, with chairs and a table.
Food is great, but don't expect alcohol others than beer, a UNESCO rule I was told!
The highlight, walking across the lawns to unlimited free entry into the Borobodur temple site. You are a two minute walk from climbing those magnificent steps. The staff were lovely, try to find 30 minutes to watch the film in the threatre, it puts lots of what you see into context.
One other favourite for me, the in room massage they can organise. It's very cheap and Mamo, the masseuse is possibly the best I've ever had.
