"Nice Bavarian cultural hotel with local foods. Lunch comes with limited options. Dinners were usually ok except one day. If you don't eat meat it is a bit hard to find something suitable to you. You may need to request room cleaning if you need. Great place for kids, they can navigate themselves above 3yo. "

"Very nice room. Had everything needed to enjoy the stay. Bed was comfortable, bathroom and kitchen were nice too! Everything seemed very nice, clean and quality. Check in and out was easy. Parking was easy. We parked across the street from the hotel on a side street. Very cute town. Happy to have stayed here on our way from Heidleberg to Prague. "

"The owner was very friendly and all the staff was very courteous. They really have a welcoming attitude. The breakfast is very good and sumptuous with lot of variety. "It was a nice property although the check in procedure was a little unclear. It's also not mentioned on the French booking site that payment is made at the property (expedia just takes card details, I presume to hold the reservation), so there was a bit of a kerfuffle the next morning as that got sorted out. Besides those couple of issues I would definitely recommend this property, I had a really good night sleep and it was a short drive to the dragon fest."

First impressions last and this wasn’t a good one.
"Hotel: The hotel itself was absolutely fine. Clean, modern and generally very pleasant. Check-in: The lady at the check-in was rude and seemed like she did not want to be there. She constantly interrupted me when I asked about the parking reservation that I had made, she went on about the breakfast that I didn’t reserve and was generally very unfriendly to deal with. She also told me I didn’t have a booking until she actually read my German ID card properly. This was not what I needed after such a long drive and certainly not what I would expect from front office staff at a four star hotel. Check-out: Conversely, the short conversation I had with the lady on reception when I checked out using the online check-out in the morning was extremely friendly and thankful. "
