We stayed for two nights after a cruise. Friendly staff, clean building and room. Breakfast provided had everything we could ask for. We loved the history of the hotel and the past celebrity visitors. Would definetly come back

Good, basic stay in a convenient area. We felt safe and comfortable for our entire stay. Some parts of the hotel and hotel room itself seemed like they had not been cleaned regularly but it felt like a minor issue. We enjoyed our stay overall and the staff was friendly and welcoming, thank you.

On Las Ramblas, so best location, it is over the metro, so you can hear and feel the vibrations, but we were on the top floor so it was not bothersome. Good deal and decent breakfast.

Great location although the street is noisy. That is to be expected. Nice. Breakfast. Rooms could use a refresh…, the furniture is worn and there is no storage. Put shelves in the bathroom and drawers to store clothes, and another nightstand. Great helpful staff would definately stay again!

Great basic hotel with a good breakfast spread (by European standards), clean basic rooms and an elevator which ticked all our boxes. The area was very lively at night but our quadruple room faced the inner courtyard and was blissfully quiet - so I recommend requesting a rear room.

Quatro Naciones was an AMAZING find. Some of the reviews gave poor reports for breakfasts, grumpy staff, cramped bedrooms. Absolutely unrecogniseable. I had a double room - double bed plus a single bed at single occupancy price £85/night, clean, towels, toothbrush everything. Impressive breakfast: cooked, hams & cheeses, giant croissants, fruit juices, toast machine, coffee. And they even had English tea!. Staff were amazing at the desk, at breakfast. Even nipped out to flag down a taxi in the Rablas. Best bit of course.... location, location, location. Bottom of the Ramblas. Even the Old Irish Pub straight across the road with live music and DJ from 11pm. Outstanding. I'll be back.

Hotel staff were great. Stored bags with them as we were an early arrival. On returning to the hotel later, they had moved our bags safely to our room ready. Breakfast was good. Nice selection and kept replenished. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Location is great. Rooms comfy and spacious. Would say not updated but that really didn’t make any difference to the stay. Aircon is available if needed

Perfect location on a budget
This was the perfect hotel for me. My room literally had a balcony overlooking Las Ramblas, but thanks to double glazing and blackout curtains, noise and light were not a problem. The self service breakfast had everything, including Serrano ham and fresh pineapple. Staff were extremely helpful. I love how a formerly “grand” hotel has been modified so that people on ordinary budgets can enjoy its ideal location and historic detail (like the stained glass windows on the stair landings). I would definitely go back!

Seconds fun the Placa Reial, this is not a quiet hotel, but if you're a sound sleeper, it's a great choice. Good rooms, clean bathroom and lovely staff.
