U pay n u get wat u paid. Not recommend for travel in group or couple. Hotel room aircon not function properly and can feel heat in room. Bathroom also always got weird smelt.

Check in was fast. The place was spacious enough for the price. Except that house keeping was not very prompt. Bottles of mineral water provided. Maybe that they shouldn't use glass bottles. They are heavier

Budget hotel.. that's all there is to say..
The ac was broken, dead bugs present upon walking in. The bathroom was nice though, it was spacious. The bed was thai style I suppose as it was hard. It felt almost like sleeping on a board with a pillow. Room service was good though, I got waters and they made my bed. Check in and check out staff was friendly. I never went to the rooftop because there's no view to see. It's sorrounded by huge buildings and the one in front of it is kinda unsightly..this hotel however was good for being close to the bts, terminal 21 and other frequently visited places.

Convenient location
This hotel provides access to shopping at Terminal 21 and the sky train. The accommodation is cheap and cheerful, although the free WiFi was very unreliable

Hotel Soi 19 Sukhumvit
Bad experience, got to hotel and couldn't stay there as aircon broken.Sent us to another hotel miles away down sukhumvit road, no bars, no markets.total waste of time. Hotel should have just refunded money and we could have stayed in area we wanted to.

A bit of a dump - only as last resort.
For the price (700 baht) it was OK for one night. Would not recommend an extended stay here. I booked a double bed but was given twin beds. The size is good with a large bathroom/toilet. The area is good, close to Asoke/Terminal 21 - but it is dark at night and may take a few minutes to get a taxi (or walk to Sukhumvit road). My only real problem with the place was the service - rude, and when I wanted to extend another night in the morning I was quoted a DOUBLE rate at 1400 baht - which is ridiculous for that dump - you can stay in a 4-star hotel for 1400 - they just prey on tired tourists in hope that they'll cave in and book at an overpriced rate just to avoid changing hotels. I declined, took my things, and got a much better hotel, in a much better location, for 1100 - will never go back to that dump simply on principal. Their loss - I would've taken any reasonable offer (say 900-1000), but double the price? no.

Nice hotel
Value for money hotel close to BTS, MRT and all the action of Sukumvit, the hotel offers tours. The ac in our room leaked badly but they repaired the next day and gave us a better room, love this place

The toilet was stuck and I went to the reception and asked to send the plumber up to the room and get it flowing again. We came back 5 hours later and nothing happened. late in the evening we noticed the bed sheet was stained and we didn't bother calling the reception and decided to sleep on top of the duvet. the ceiling in the shower had a whole in it from a dripping pipe, rather than fixing the source somebody decided to stick a tissue paper in the ceiling! the water temperature in the shower was very difficult to adjust as it switched suddenly to cold and hot again. also here the drainage was clogged.

A dilapidated hotel that overcharges for what it offers even as a budget hotel. The rooms (bedroom/bathroom) are at different levels and if you are above 6ft in height your head will hit the ceiling in the toilet area. The bed was really uncomfortable (could feel springs) so forget having a good nights sleep. As well as the ants crossing the floor an inspection behind the bedhead will reveal the dead bodies of other insects and small change that has dropped on the floor. I left this establishment half way through my paid stay.

Friendly staff in run down accommodation
The staff were attentive and friendly however I would not call this a hotel! There was no window in the room and facilities had seen better days. Tiles where cracked and bulging in the bathroom had been poorly repaired, I had the manager visit looking for a leak as there was a serious flooding issue on the floor below. To sum up, you get what you pay for

Best budget hotel in the neighbourhood
First time at Sam's Lodge. Chose it because of its proximity to metro and malls. Great find. Very basic rooms but clean, neat and excellent bathroom. There are many other budget and boutique hotels in the area but Sam's couldnt be beaten for price and cleanliness.

Excellent location. Near Terminal 21 and close to stations (Asok BTS and Sukhumvit MRT). Walkable to main areas of sukhumvit road and easy access to other parts of Bangkok by train. Rooms were clean and well maintained, service was fine. Value for money.

Sam's Hotel 2015
The location makes this hotel a good stay but when I checked in my room hadn't been 100% cleaned from the last guest. A damp foot towel was still on the floor (still with wet footprints), in the mini fridge there was a half drunk bottle of water (you get 2 per night) and there were still bits of paper and garbage around the room. Given the state of the room I wondered if the sheets had been changed.. Also the safe was non-functional. I went down to the hotel clerk and asked if there was another room that was clean he said no it was the last room. I told him about the safe so he came up to inspect. I pointed out the used towel and he replied, no it's clean. He determined that the safe was broken but said that a repair man would be in to fix it first thing Monday morning. I stayed until Wednesday and inquired twice about the repair time and he said yes, today. They did accommodate me by keeping my valuables in a front desk drawer but I felt unsure about leaving my passport. Overall, the room didn't have bedbugs, I checked,it had a tv and a fridge and a private bathroom.

DO NOT get Room 301! - Strong sewer gas smell
THE BAD: - Strong sewer gas smell in room (definitely coming from the drains in the bathroom, either sewer gas or stuff rotting in the drains.) DO NOT GET ROOM 301! The smell got better when I turned on the bathroom fan, I did not sleep well due to the bathroom light shining through the louvered bathroom door. -Staff would not move me from this room. Based on the reaction of the guy at the front desk, they seem to know this is a problem room. They also had a small air freshener hanging on the bathroom door which wasn't doing anything to cover up the odor. -Room was much more run down than it appeared online. Hair clogging the drain, mildew in the shower, shower door that wouldn't stay closed, water damage on wall near the window of the sleeping area. -No key or keycard needed to access the building during most (or all?) hours, which is off an alley in a busy area. THE GOOD: -Good location next to transit and food. -Cheap -I had previously booked another night there later in the week. The second room was better (no sewer gas smell) but still a bit dingy and without a window.(Cheap though) -24 hour staffed front desk -Staff is generally helpful, except for what is mentioned in the section above. -The room had a safe.

It is a good hotel,except that the housekeeping was not avialable at all time. Got once,I try to call front service to ask for housekeeping to make up my room a later time, the lady told me that their maid was not avialable. I had stay for five days but the linen was change only one time.

With a small budget to cover an overnight stay in order catch an outbound flight in the morning, I had very little expectations given the rate. Checked into the hotel in the evening and was greeted pleasantly by the staff. The hotel has an old lift that works excellent. Walking into to the room, i headed straight to the restroom after a lengthy travel both by road and air. Turned on the lights and a cockroach dashed away from the porcelain thrown. Flipped up the lid, then the seat as a gentleman should and there, was an extremely unpleasant brown remnant on the rim of the outer rim of the bowl. This urged me to check the bed so I untucked the covers to take a look at the spread to see if it was visually ok to lay on. Seemed ok there and the mattress comfort was decent. Until I noticed more unpleasant stains of yellow and brown splattered across the ceiling. After that, we decided to just head out and try and enjoy the final night in BKK as long as possible. We both dreaded coming back to our room.

hmmmm!!. it was okay. but close to the transport
easy access from the airport via expressway. (if BTS, then change at phya thai station) early check in was not possible. room was just okay although superior room. Air con and fan was working. bed was comfy. no noise good staff. i was solo. so all okay. shower head was a bit annoying. i had to bite with my teeth to put the rubber seal in place. overall good. i will go there again. because of BTS. Safe was not good it was just a key. a column in the middle of the room (?????)

少し見つけづらい角のところにあります。ソイカウボーイやターミナル21に近い立地なのでスクンビット駅付近には行きやすいがナナまでは１０分以上かかる。バンコクのゲストハウスでは及第点で部屋はベッドだけあるという感じ。JFフリー

とにかく立地が良いです。アソーク駅から徒歩5分圏内なので，どこに行くにも便利です。スーパーマーケットやコンビニも周辺にあり，買い物にも困りません。 設備は古いのですが，シャワーを浴びて寝るだけなので特に問題ありません。今回の部屋は天井扇が壊れていて動きませんでしたが，エアコンが問題なく効いていたので快適でした。 セキュリティボックスのない部屋，窓のない部屋等のバリエーション(？)が多いので，希望がある場合にはチェックイン時に確認した方が良いと思います。 今回は事前予約でクイーンズサイズベッドを希望していましたが，チェックイン時にセキュリティボックス有の部屋をお願いしたところ，ツインベッドの窓有部屋に変更となりました。

スタッフは親切だが、室内は杜撰。 部屋の中の扉を開けたら、小型室外機がゴロゴロ捨ててあってびっくりしました。 また、エアコンは付かず蒸し暑い夜を過ごし散々でした。

camera da letto con climatizzatori fuori uso e con solo ventilatori. bagno con perdita d'acqua e lavandino con struttura in laminato che si era staccata dal muro . inguardabile. servizi igienici sul terrazzo improponibili.. da evitare assolutamente anche per la presenza del fiume nel soi 19 che emana una puzza terrificante. evitate di soggiornare in questo soi ...

I use this hotel just only sleep,so comfortable. It is wonderful to be able to go out while charging mobile phone or running the air conditioner. All the front desk stuff is very kind. If one thing was difficult, the bath towel was old and tattered. I want it to be replaced immediately. ただ寝るだけですが、快適。 携帯充電や、エアコンを動かしたまま外出できるのも素晴らしい。 フロント係はどの人も親切。 ひとつだけ難を挙げるなら、バスタオルが古くてボロボロでした。 あれはすぐ交換して欲しい。

샘스로지 에서의 숙박 경험
방콕에 새벽 도착이라 1박만 하고자 저렴한 가격의 숙소를 찾았는데, 정말 저렴한 가격인걸 제외하면 숙소로서의 매력은 정말 최악 이었습니다. 에어컨은 고장난 상태이며, 선풍기는 1단으로만 돌아가는 등 더운데 찝찝해 죽는줄 알았습니다.
