I thought it’d be nicer. The mattress was hard and the pillows weren’t good. The bathroom was really outdated.

Returned visit but quite disappointed
Power tripped early in the morning. Request to change room but was informed that I could only change after 2pm. The air condition in the room is not cooling at all.

The hotel location is quite good as its very near china town (12minutes walk) and just literally next to MRT station. The only thing I didnt like is the fact that you cannot even ask for a cup to make a coffee and no free coffee either - only free water PLUS many staff cannot speak english.

I really appreciated its private location and how convenient it was to walk out directly to a train station...made it very easy to get around and get back to the hotel.

The pool is in the shade with a dilapidated building dominating one side, hardly worth the effort. The staff tried but it is only a 3 star so not much to expect. The nub of this poor review is the loss of my phone and smartwatch. The hotel was not very forthcoming and we had to chase to get cctv footage, the watch was taken from our room which was very disappointing. Location is OK, MRT station outside and only a 10 minute walk to Chinatown but the pavements are full of people sleeping rough outside the hotel premises and around Hua Lamphong station. I booked this as a 4 start through Expedia but cannot stress enough that it is a verified and self classified 3 star.

I stayed at this hotel earlier this year and intially had a good time which is why I decided to stay again recently. However I was disapointed this time round, our main issue was the awful smell coming from another room which lingered until the end of our stay. I'm also still waiting for my deposit to be returned to me. Pool staff were very friendly but overall wouldnt stay again.

Disappointed
Service was way below average. Perception of hotel vastly diffeeent to reality. I definitely do not recommend this hotel at this price. It’s definitely 3 star hotel maximum.

This is a traditional Hotel in serious need of an update. In the plus side, the rooms were clean, the bed very comfortable and the breakfast buffet was great . It’s a very good value for money and in an excellent location in the center. The Hua Lamphong station from the MRT is literally in front of the hotel. It is also very close to China town where you can visit the Golden Buddha.

This hotel is very pleasant with good service and close to Hua Lamphong railway station. It is a very large hotel with many guests and many group tourists from overseas, with a lot taking group tours each day from the hotel. Breakfast is quite good with a good variety of eastern and western food. Our room was very pleasant with a good view on the 10th floor.

Overall Disappointed.
The hotel room do not provide electric kettle, every times when you need hot / boil water, you have to call front receptionist to bring over. Furthermore, the room bed blanket quite old and smelly, the bathroom bathtub is dirty, and wc bowl found crack lines, not even provide with toilet washing tap. nearby no food stall at surround, have to walk across the bridge toward China Town to find foods.

Relax in a big busy city
From start to finish this was relaxing. I arrived for 4 days of relaxation. I had things planned to do in Bangkok so the hotel had to somply be a nice place to relax with a pool for the times between my planned activities. This it did perfectly no complaints. The staff in particular were very helpful and interesting to talk to.

Hotel is conveniently situated near Hua Lamphung railway station and just outside Chinatown,with MRT line just outside the hotel practically. Furniture a little dated, water mixer in the shower is a little difficult to get correct temperature right, fair breakfast selection. Front office staff are helpful and friendly

Not too bad
Room and toilet were generally clean, but dated. Bed wasn’t the most comfortable though. Great that there’s free wifi in room. Hotel was next to Hua lumphong train station, and walking distance to Chinatown. However, there aren’t many shops nearby. There is a 7/11 across the road if you are hungry at night. Not exactly near the touristy parts of Bangkok.
