The staff were friendly and they had a lovely area for my dog, as well as a communal outdoor bbq and seating area!

Clean. Spacious room for small family of 3 with a good layout. Enjoyed the peaceful property as other guests were peaceful as per the guest rules. Comfortable beds. Good pressure in shower. Good heating. Liked the powerboard. Good sized rectangular dining table for 3-4 people. Liked the free wi-fi. Convenient access to hightway. Not too noisy from the highway. Less than 10 minutes drive from Ballarat town centre. 24 hour check in. Keyless, pin code room entry. Helpful friendly service. Accessible rubbish and recycling bins on property. Good price for family on a budget. Recommend to others. We would stay again.

Pleasant stay in classic motel
We booked this motel at the last moment because it was the only available pet-friendly place in Ballarat. We were very pleased with the experience. The reception was welcoming, the location handy on the main road into town (but quiet). The room was clean and well-supplied, with modern TV, fridge, microwave, and plenty of fresh bedding and towels. We'd definitely stay here again.

Booked at last minute, staff were friendly and helpful. Very old decor and fit out but comfortable with all we needed. Easy to find just outside Ballarat. Use of digital check in / room access worked well.

The rooms were great with everything that was needed, an available cooking area made meals more convenient than having takeaway every night. The door was slightly irritating to continuously enter a pin number to get in but made it so a key card wasnt needed and couldnt be lost

This property is well out of town so is removed from sources of food. A selection of order and deliver menus are available but the plates supplied to serve and eat the food were inadequate. But this seems to be a common situation for motels in this price range that includes a microwave in their facilities. A good feature is the cost free laundry. Although the dryer was a bit slow it was would be churlish to complain as free laundry facilities are not common at motels. But the room was clean and the bed comfortable with the room quite a good size for a couple. We started would stay again

The reviews were accurate re this hotel, it was exactly what we expected. It wasn’t fancy, but we were looking for somewhere easy to stop for the night on the way from a late flight into Melbourne and to a birthday party in Mt Gambier. The location just off the highway was perfect, the auto entry made it easy as we arrived at 1am. It was clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable, just what we needed.

Was really clean and tidy. Loved that there was cold water in the fridge. Only thing that was disappointing was there was no heating we had to contact staff and they gave us a little heater which heated up the room well other than that everything was really good.

I liked the check in facilities and that you just needed a passcode to access your room. I thought that was so much easier than having a key. The rooms were very tired and dated and the pressure in the shower was almost non existent. Did the job but it wasn’t the best accomodation I’ve stayed in

Easy check in / out using digital keylock. However I may hv missed the info as it wasnt clear in the email, so was initially stumped on how to check out when the reception is closed, n no one answered the phone. Only after asking other visitors found out that check out at the counter/kiosk was not needed, just had to lock our door. Thus this could be 1 thing the team could improve in advising re: check out process - which unlike other motels, theres no need to go check out at the counter! :")

very easy automated check-in, great for when you are arriving late. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and presentation of the room. the only issues were (1) the bed - it was way too soft with no support and (2) the noise from the trucks driving past on the highway. great location for a quick overnight stop over on the drive to Melbourne.
